'Exceptionally friendly and courteous and helpful clerk at the front desk Basic hotel with a necessary amenities and my room actually had a kitchen. Some decent restaurants next door, but it’s about a 40 minute walk or a five minute taxi ride to the waterfront. Overall a good budget option. There doesn’t seem to be any middle range properties here but there are lots of Western branded high-end resorts.'

'Perfect locatikn for exploring the ciry close to Mutrah and airport. Freenpsrkjng was a big plus for us as we had our own car. Room was big clean good waterpressure breakfast was amazjng lots of choices and friendly staff'

'The hotel was very noisy, the room looked like it has never seen refurbishment since the 19th century, the breakfast was not great, there was no hairdryer in the room, the shower could use some repairs, the room was smelly, the bed linen felt dirty as well, the wifi was very slow, the bill had to be paid in advance, they do not accept American Express, and the hotel was willing to arrange day trips in Muscat and Oman at rates that were well above those advertised by tour operators. 'Wi-Fi horrivel, nao consegui fazer nenhuma reunião de video. Limpeza bem ruim, banheiro sujo, localização ruim, não tem nada bom por perto. Funcionários não ajudaram com nada que eu solicitei. Local com janela pra parede, não tem iluminação natural.'

'Believe all the reviews. For just a little more money you will get a proper hotel room, I would not call this place a hotel. No Wi-Fi, no hot water. The toilet didn’t have a toilet seat and the sink faucet was falling off the wall. Music till 2/3am on both nights I stayed there. This place will be the worst standard I base the rest of my life on. '
