'Beautiful location, with beautiful swimmingpool with view over the Ocean, Ara's and whales. Friendly employees (95%), but for a 5star expected I more... For my Birthday I got a special dessert. Massage was nice with the sounds of the Ara's and ocean at the background. Spacy room and good beds. At sealevel an extra place to stay. I can recommend this hotel!'

'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...

'Van buiten denk je dat het tegenvalt. Pas als je binnen bent zie je hoe mooi het is. Alleen jammer dat we aan de voorkant van de straat lagen. Dat waren daar de enige 2 kamers voor ons, jammer maar ja... Wel heel mooi en prachtig zwembad waar leguanen lopen en andere dieren. kamers heel ruim en netjes. Op loopafstand van alles.'

'Alles was geweldig. Prachtig resort; geweldig, divers en vers eten; ook de zelfgemaakte sappen zijn eeg lekker; ontzettend behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel; mooie kamer met geweldig uitzicht op jungle en zee, het bed slaapt heerlijk. Zelfs in het resort zie je al heel veel dieren. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!'

'Outstanding stay and this small resort on the edge of the world. The drive from Liberia airport was a long one, but totally worth it to drive into the little village of Montezuma and into the jungle paradise of Ylang Ylang. Our room was right on the ocean. Going to sleep with the crash of the ocean waves outside our door. Beaches - mostly empty save the hermit crabs and occasional local dog. Staff - outstanding. Bed - comfortable. This is a slice of paradise. Highly recommended for...
