'Our stay was amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The calmness and silence of the nature is so nice. We also enjoyed a 5 course meal in the hotel which was terrific! The personal service of the staff really makes you feel at home, they walk you to your room, offered a welcome drink and afternoon cookies and different kind of activities in the surrounding nature. In short our stay of only 1 night was way too short.'

'Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the mountain…a/c worked quietly and efficiently. Bathroom small but shower had hot water and ample room to place...

'It was a wonderfully relaxing vacation amid the green, quiet gardens all around. Our only problem was finding the location. Were it not for some kind citizens of Gouveia who directed us to the site, we might be still driving around looking for it!'
