Location is uphill and away from restaurants, shops, central sightseeing, so we relaxed and ate in the hotel restaurant that was surprisingly good; thanks to a previous reviewer who recommended the excellent pumpkin soup.

Convenient location, safe.
Had two different rooms. First a classic triple, spacious, big bathroom. But window to corridor above bed ?! made it hard to sleep, plus could hear anyone walking in corridor.
Second was deluxe studio with nice jacuzzi. Much better for sleeping.
Breakfast excellent due to fresh fruits.

'This charmingly rustic property is located a short walk from Plaza de Armas. After being uncomfortably cold for several nights in another Cusco location even with a heater turned on, we were pleasantly surprised our room was so warm that the included heater wasn't even needed. The shower has amazing pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast included in the rate is far beyond expectations, as are amenities like thick robes and quality toilet paper. The English-speaking staff is so kind and...

'I really enjoyed my stay at XO hotel. I was traveling solo and the staff was very considerate in making sure I was comfortable. They serve a light breakfast, with eggs and bacon every morning. "Mooi hotel. Zaten in kamers onder de grond, uitzicht op een oude Inca muur. Maar die staat letterlijk 30cm of zo vanaf het raam. Daardoor nul dag licht in de kamer. En je kan het raam niet open zetten. Super lekker bed, goede airco, mooie maar verouderde badkamer & inrichting."
