'The staff and host were very friendly and helpful. The location is about a 25 minute walk to the metro station. Excellent English breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.'

'Good'

'Very well equipped, everything excellent quality. Food wonderful. All good.'

'Het heeft vooral de sfeer van een ‘guesthouse’, omdat het volledig gerund wordt door een uiterst aardig echtpaar, dat je ‘s morgens een prima ontbijt serveert en je op elk gewenst moment te woord zal staan. Heel anders dan een hotel met aardig maar afstandelijk personeel. De Lodge zelf is op leeftijd, dus verwacht geen hypermodern comfort.'

'Adequate, appropriate, suited needs. Felt at home even for a short stay. Enjoy.'

'It was too overpriced for the overall quality. At least it had a bed and a bathroom with toilet. However, pricing is ridiculous for what it offers.'

'SCAMMED we felt totally scammed. If your thinking of Booking this place Please read all the poor reviews in relation to this property, they are all accurate. Its NOT A HOTEL, Its a house in what looks like council estate. Its a 4 bedroom house that this man let's out with a several Booking platforms with a listing that is totally inaccurate. 'Clean room and great value'

'Rooms are old and have been lived. A lot of rust, broken furniture, bathrooms need a remodel. Hot water yes, very hot, cold water was hard to get as the shower was stuck on hot, almost burned myself. All in all heavily lived. Shops are close, free parking for up to 3 cars. Full kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer. But again heavily lived. Free WiFi. Beds are not that great. Good for a night or two maximum.'

'Had a lovely stay Very helpful staff and room beautifully clean. Very near to shop and not too far from town will stay again happily.'

'The service was great'

'De locatie was prima om de 'chilterns' te ontdekken en het gezellige Henly-on-Thames was maar even verderop.'

'Noisy'

'The cost was just within my budget. Very basic & affordable. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and secure. You get what you pay for. I didn’t need to use the shared spaces. Would return 😊'
