'The Crown b&b is a warm inviting, cosy establishment. The owners are very friendly & helpful. There is a small bar area which is well stocked. You can relax on one of their sumptuous sofas. The evening meal was delicious and well presented. Our room covered all our requirements, tea, coffee & water were provided. The beds were comfortable, everywhere was very clean but well used. The breakfast provided was substantial with a full English, cereal, juice and tea/Coffee. We would highly recommend...

'This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.'

'Excellent pod had all the amenities you could need. Very quiet, and lovely sitting out on the deck over the large pond with a glass of wine. The owner came passed and was very chatty and helpful suggesting where to fish. I think our only annoyance would be the skylight above the bed didn’t have a blackout blind so was very light at 4 in the morning, but great for seeing the stars. Would definitely go back.'

'I am a bit late in leaving this review as I don’t usually leave them but this B&B is amazing! Me and my partner stayed at the vine B&B in August for 1 night as we were at a wedding reception near by. From start to finish the experience was amazing'

'Prima kamers boven een pub. Een beetje lawaaierig. Ontbijt moest je avond ervoor bestellen, was ok, niet super, maar goed genoeg. Personeel is vriendelijk en correct. Minpunt was de douche, deze was erg klein (nog nooit zo klein gezien) en de watertemperatuur bleef op en neer gaan, van warm (te warm) naar koud.'

'The code for the wasn’t sent to me, but a phone call fixed that. There are no staff so everything is done by phone or message. Car park is nearby and reasonable. The room was fine with a good shower although it smelt as if someone had been smoking on the landing (not the room) Breakfast is very basic, toast, yoghurt Nescafé and cereals. But that was ok. It’s fine for two nights but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay for a lot longer. Good value overall if basic. '

'A beautiful, charming property. My room was so welcoming and peacefull, I even had my own garden I could relax in. The breakfast was included and was wonderful, specifically featuring home made and local produce. Friendly and unobtrusive hosts. Highly recommended, I'll be back!'

'No parking facility for single room occupancy was inconvenient and had to leave car in a nearby exposed housing estate and walk back. Check-in was confusing with key boxes on the wall for each room, but access is via the key coded digital front door lock. The hidden digital locks on the room door handles can be confusing for new arrivals. Room was basic and very noisy at street level, with only wooden blinds that let light in. All TV channels did not work. A budget hotel is what you pay for and...

'Charming B&B excellent accommodation great spot easy walk into Woodhallspa. Breakfast was superb. Staff and owners could not be more helpful. Plenty of parking, nice areas to sit and relax in and out of rooms. Immaculately clean. Good spot from which to walk cycle and tour. Quiet but not remote. In room refreshments aplenty and generous bathroom consumables including towels. Room airy, air con perfect given heatwave we encountered, shower big powerful and very nice. Bed huge and super comfy....

'Different experience traveling from the US- shared bathroom, check-in at the bar in the adjacent restaurant, modestly lit path along the side of the building to the hallway door that led to the rooms.'
