The view from the apartment is nice and it is located in a quiet neighborhood that is well situated for exploring Folly Beach and Charleston. The apartment's kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Had it been warmer, we would have used the kayaks and bikes. Communication was timely and clear. Unfortunately two appliances were broken (HVAC, oven - though the cooktop and microwave worked) and coordinating repairs with various characters (neighbor, owner, etc) wasn't on our vacation wish list, so we opted to manage without those. If renters are staying in the house above, be prepared for unavoidable noise - no fault of the renters, just thin walls, floors, and a few decks. All told the basics are taken care of, the extras like bikes and kayaks are appreciated, and the dog friendly location works well.
