Welkom bij de Market Street Suite in het hart van het prachtige Charleston! Onze locatie is ongeëvenaard! We zijn direct tegenover de stadsmarkt, de beste locatie in het historische centrum.
Dit stukje hemel is de ideale plek voor een romantisch uitje, een weekendje weg of een gedenkwaardige viering van het leven.
Onze suite is vooral gewild bij honeymooners, gasten die hun verjaardagen, verjaardagen en verlovingen vieren en bezoekers die genieten van de uitstekende locatie.

Parkeer uw auto (parkeren tegen een gereduceerd tarief is beschikbaar in een overdekte en met camera's beveiligde garage op slechts een steenworp afstand van de suites) en kom er nooit meer in terug als u dineert in de vele gerenommeerde restaurants, bezienswaardigheden, winkels, antiquing en de pracht ontdekt en schoonheid van Charleston is je doel.

Wij bieden een 5-sterren deluxe suite die liefdevol is gerestaureerd om de elegantie van weleer te behouden met alle moderne luxe en gemakken. De suite is charmant, goed ingericht, privé (slechts twee suites in ons gebouw) en veilig (toegangssloten met meerdere sleutels minder). Een aangepaste kitchenette is beschikbaar in uw kamer met een koelkast, magnetron, Keurig koffiezetapparaat, servies en bestek. Wij bieden zeep en handdoeken, koffie, mineraalwater en chocolaatjes om u te verwelkomen! U zult zeker genieten van zoete dromen in onze koningin pluche kussen top matras gekleed met 1800 (!) beddengoed tellen.

Ontspan op onze gezellige leistenen patio of in de zithoek in de foyer, een geweldige plek om te genieten van uw ochtendkoffie, een glas wijn, om een boek te lezen over Charleston of om uw e-mails bij te houden met onze gratis WiFi.

  • The Dock Street Theatre is Charleston's last surviving hotel from the antebellum period. The silhouette of its wrought iron balcony against the spire of St. Philip's church may be the single most photographed spot in the city. The main portion of the building was constructed around 1809 as Planter's Hotel. The hotel was built by Alexander Calder and his wife, who did so by renovating several pre-existing buildings at the site. The main entrance may not have been built until 1855 by J.W. Gamble. The hotel was used extensively by planters from the midlands of South Carolina, who traveled to Charleston during horse-racing season. It was noted for its wonderful food and drinks during this era, and the South's famous Planter's Punch may have originated here. Guests to the hotel passed through the recessed porch with brownstone columns, into the lobby, and up a grand staircase that ascended to a drawing room. While much of the interior has been altered, these elements of the antebellum hotel remain and were adapted in subsequent uses of the building. A series of additions to the hotel throughout the 19th and 20th centuries can be easily identified by differences in brick coloration. This theater is said to have been the first building built specifically for theatrical performances in America. Planter's Hotel occasionally housed one of the city's theatrical troupes, which performed at the nearby New Theatre during the mid-19th century. The most notable actor of this troupe was Junius Brutus Booth. Booth was the patriarch of an outstanding family of actors, which included John Wilkes Booth, President Lincoln's assassin. Junius Booth, who stayed at the Planter's Hotel, allegedly tried to kill his manager here in 1838. Today the Dock Street Theatre is home to the Charleston Stage Company, South Carolina's largest professional theater production company, and houses the city's Cultural Affairs office as well as The City Gallery, an exhibition space for local artists.

Great location and walkable to market and restaurants surrounding the area. We did the Gray Line City tour of the city and learned so much. The bed was comfy and enjoyed the kitchenette for our tea and coffee in the morning and evening. Felt very safe in our area. It’s hidden so follow the directions on the location. I suggest having someone wait by car when unloading when you first arrive to get the parking card rather than trying to pay to park on street. No complaints on room. They were very accommodating.

We spent a week in historic Charleston, and our 96 Market St studio apt was perfect! Right across the street from the City Market, and within walking distance of EVERYTHING this district has to offer. There's a small, but very convenient kitchenette in the room with microwave, sink, med size fridge, counter space, a few dishes, silverware, mugs for coffee,and a little table w 2 chairs to enjoy meals in the room together. Windows look right out on Market St. It really is a fantastic location.

Our stay at Terri and Carlos’s property was fantastic. They were both very communicative and hospitable. The home was exceptionally well located. Right next to the city market, surrounded by great restaurants, shops places to grab tasty snack. As a bonus there is a Target just a few blocks down the street along spectacular King Street shopping District. Charlestown itself is spectacular and Carlos and Terri recommended some wonderful ways to engage with the city, it’s history and it’s culture.

I came here with my Mom who is about to turn 70. It is in a great location by the market. There is a long stairway up to the room, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Loved the shower floor texture and the code locks. Had a great stay!
