Summary:
Welcome to Carriage on Cannon, a 3 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom single home located in Downtown Charleston! This stunning three-story residence boasts charming porches on the first and second floors, along with one of the tallest rooftop patios in Cannonborough—offering breathtaking panoramic views. Just two blocks from the Historic Upper King Street Restaurant & Design District, this home is the perfect retreat for enjoying the best of Charleston.

The Space:
This property was beautifully renovated and updated in February 2022 with new paint throughout the interior and exterior, refinished cabinetry and new countertops/backsplash in the kitchen.

This highly desirable area is where Charleston is growing and many of the city's top restaurants and boutiques are just a short stroll away from this lovely home. Enjoy morning coffee on one of two covered porches as you take in the great street views and cooling breeze. Or enjoy a sunset cocktail on the rooftop porch overlooking the gorgeous city skyline and the stunning Cooper River Bridge. Two yoga mats along with yoga blocks and an exercise ball are also provided if rooftop yoga is your desire.

The home has three spacious bedrooms, each with a new queen bed and furnished with luxury linens. The home features a full bath on the second and third levels along with a half bath on the main floor. Hardwood floors are throughout the house and the 3rd floor primary suite features a private rooftop porch, en suite bathroom and large dual closets. Each bedroom has new flat screen televisions and the living room features a new 42" flat screen television.

Brand new linens and towels are top quality and plentiful throughout the home. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap, lighted make up mirrors, and hair dryers are provided in each upstairs bathroom and closet space is ample in each room. Two off-street parking spaces are provided adjacent to the house allowing for convenient loading and unloading. All new beds too!

The open main floor living area is perfect for entertaining as it boasts an eat-in bar area with seating for 4 people. The porch on the first level opens to the street. A comfortable pull-out sofa is located in the living area along with stylish accent furniture and a large mirror. The home sleeps 6 comfortably in the 3 queen beds, however additional guests are welcome to sleep on the pull-out sofa allowing us to accommodate up to 8 guests.

There is complimentary high speed WiFi and cable with HBO.

A new washer and dryer are located next to the half bath and detergent is provided along with all necessary paper products during your stay. The kitchen is equipped with all new flatware, silverware and cookware. The coffee make and toaster oven are new and the kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, oven and microwave. Games, cards, and poker chips are also provided for your entertainment along with high speed internet (75Mbps) and over 140 Comcast cable channels including ESPN and the Golf Channel.

We provide starter supplies for your stay to include a small shampoo, conditioner and body wash per person, 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 dishwasher tabs, small bottle of dish soap, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 spare trash bag, 2 packs of coffee and a handful of small creamers. After these initial supplies run out, we do not offer additional supplies. There are several convenience stores and grocery stores in the area for your convenience.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the Charleston peninsula.

The Wonderer includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch, dinner, trendy cocktails, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property. Any sign of pets will incur additional fees starting at $500.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 11pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please take the party inside and be considerate of the neighbors.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

We loved the location, 5 minutes walk to the visitors center and close to King street. It was great to have a parking spot at the house. Easy unloading and loading our luggages.Note: Cannon street can be noisy early morning.

The house was a perfect choice for our girls get away to celebrate a milestone birthday!! The home was clean and comfortable and was what we saw on line when booking. It is located in a great area - close to shopping, restaurants and historical sights! The house was well stocked and the beds comfortable. Great outside decks too. The only issue we had was with the key pad and our code not working. The management office was very easy to contact and helpful...quick to help with our issue. I would rent this property again!!

Arrived at the location and were pleased with the accommodations. The home was clean and orderly and well appointed. Location was excellent for walking towards King Street for some of the best restaurants and lounges in the city. On site parking was also a big plus. Beds were comfortable bath amenities were very nice. I would highly recommend this property for ease of access to all parts of Charleston.

We visited our daughter in Charleston and had a pleasant stay. The home was very clean and cozy. We loved all the art work in the house- so nicely decorated. The location is safe and close enough to the college, shopping and restaurants that we were able to park and walk all weekend. We look forward to staying here again!

House was beautiful, modern, clean and well kept. Our family of 4 enjoyed this spacious home with plenty of room for all and very comfortable beds. The house had everything we needed. Location was good. Communication with host was easy and responsive. Easy enough to Uber to the waterfront area which was quite a walk from this location.

The location was a plus, I.e. near King and two very good breakfast and dinner spots on Cannon ( literally less than 500 steps). Quite noisy but in fairness it was back to college week. While the house was very nice and stocked well ( TP, towels, utensils etc) the dishes were not clean, the couch was heavily stained as well as the extended chair. The clothes washer needs to be aired and washed out as it stunk. The patios were loaded with debris as well. The fridge ran very cold and seemed to not function well as we put a paper towel inside and it froze. (leaking from freezer ). The freezer didn’t make ice and we couldn’t place the arm down to expedite since it was frozen. Floors are rather beaten up. There were chips on the floor, so we question whether or not it was vacuumed before our visit. 3.5 out of 5. Thank you.

You never know if the pictures are gonna be accurate and I haven’t used Vrbo in 7 years because my last experience was so bad. I’ll have to say this trip has been a totally different experience!!! This place was better than the pictures. Everything was clearly marked, instructions were great and it was immaculately cleaned. Every detail down to the bow on the paper towels was thought of. Please don’t hesitate to rent this property.
