Dit is een charmant strandhuis in de mooie Water's Edge-gemeenschap in Folly Beach, SC dat uniek is ontworpen op de historische manier van Charleston. Slechts een paar blokken naar het strand en een blok van 'downtown' Folly, dit charmante 3 bdrm, 3 complete badkamer 1700 SqFt huis heeft prachtige voorzieningen en vele upgrades die u een comfortabel en onvergetelijk verblijf garanderen.

Dit huis (SLEEPS 6) beschikt over hardhouten vloeren in de keuken en woonkamer en tapijt in alle kamers en de gang. De keuken is volledig voorradig om te koken en is uitgerust met mooie granieten aanrechtbladen, aangepaste backslash en al uw apparaatbehoeften. Ontspan en geniet van uw favoriete drankjes op onze beschutte privé veranda, terwijl u kijkt naar de dieren in het wild die regelmatig onze getijstroom even buiten bezoeken. Bovenste verdieping een eigen balkon uit de Master Suite heeft een perfect uitzicht op de rivier en prachtige zonsondergangen. Ontspan bij het GEMEENSCHAPPELIJK ZWEMBAD (open van 1 april - 1 oktober) dat beschikbaar is voor alle gasten in het seizoen en een vissershaventje (het hele jaar geopend). Het huis is uitgerust met wasmachine, droger en gas grill.

Overall pleased with accommodations.A few things need to be addresses.Carpet in the tv /den area is filthy with stains.Toaster is hard to use ,wont stay loaded/down.When I did a wash load the washer wouldn’t rinse or spin.Charlie came promptly and managed to get it drain and I was able to wring the clothes out a dry.He said he would have it fixed..On the really cold nights the downstairs doesn’t heat up like the upstairs.Loved the jacuzzi tub

The house was just as listed. Check in and out was very easy. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to restaurants in Folly Beach. Just a word of caution with parking, if you have a fullsize truck or SUV it would be might be difficult getting into garage. Luckily we didn't have that issue. Would highly recommend.

This was my family’s second year in a row staying here, and we had another fantastic stay. The house is setup perfectly, for my husband and I, and our children (4 and 6). We love the screened in balcony for sunset dinners over the waterway. The kitchen is fully equipped and all the furniture and beds are comfortable. We had a rental car and a golf cart, which I highly recommend for getting around the area. Even without one, the main street is about a 5 minute walk. We will definitely be back again!

Relaxing on Folly

While we had been to the SC coast several times, we had never visited Folly. We could not be happier. The house was excellent - very quiet and relaxing neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the community pier on the Folly River and watching the occasional dolphins surfacing. The location was great - center of the island and easily walkable to any restaurant or the beach, but secluded enough to enjoy the quiet. We rented a golf cart to be able to check out the island and other beach points. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The rental company was very responsive and respectful of our time. The only note, that others have commented on, is that there are 17 steps up from the street to the main level and another 17 steps to the upper floor with the master bedroom and guest bedroom. There is a guest bedroom on the main floor which would limit the need to go up extra stairs, but just some to keep in mind if mobility is an issue. But this is expected/anticipated with this style house and being on an island (and most of the houses being elevated). We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay in Folly Beach

My wife and I came here for a relaxing getaway and to enjoy looking for shark teeth on the beach. Very comfortable King sized bed, very clean and tidy place, very spacious and would easily accommodate another couple or two. The couch was great thanks to the two little square cushioned ottomans to prop your feet up on. Just FYI, this townhome has 3 levels - the garage, the 2nd floor (with Kitchen, LR, bathroom, and guest room with queen sized bed), and the 3rd floor (with laundry, guest room with two twins + private bath, and master bedroom + private bath). So just be mindful that if you’re not good with lots stairs, this might not be the best fit for you. But that being said, the screened in porch on the 2nd floor and the balcony out of the master bedroom were so enjoyable! We are already thinking about making plans to come back here with our friends. The property managers (My Ocean Rental) were friendly, checked in often, and were very good at communicating via text. We unfortunately suffered power outages due to storm bands from Hurricane Helene, but they took the initiative to text us the web link so we could keep track of the outage map. We would stay again. :)

Home away from home

We loved our stay? Very clean and well cared for! Had everything we needed. Could walk to town, 10 min walk to the beach as long as not carrying a bunch of stuff. We did rent a golf cart for a few days. Garage did fit an Escape, Edge and the golf cart with space on the side for beach toys/chairs. Very narrow, so a full size truck may be very tight. There is an outdoor shower out the garage back door to get the sand off before you head in. Master bedroom upstairs had a nice balcony and the 2 twin beds with a bathroom was perfect for the kids. We utilized the pool and did some fishing off the docks. Even saw dolphins. Lots of space for our family and the screened in porch off the living room was a place we went to in the evenings.
