'We had a great stay. We were able to easily walk across the street and see the amazing Hawks Nest views, and we ate dinner at the restaurant there overlooking the river. It was a pretty quick drive over to the Canyon Rim visitor center at New River Gorge, and we spent the day hiking and fishing in the park. 'This home was in perfect distance to all activities in the national Park area! Right in the middle of restaurants and a grocery store. The house was fantastic with all amenities. Owners were friendly and communication was great. If you are checking our West Virginia New River gorge area this is a place to stay! '

'We loved Cardinal Cottage. Location was perfect for all the hiking and sight-seeing we wanted to do. The house was very cute, very clean, and very well stocked. It had everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive. The neighborhood is quiet with glorious trees and some wildlife to observe. We could not have been happier.'

'The owners were super! Plenty of parking and COVERED parking for your UTV. They had our trail passes ready for us and anything else we needed.(ice,bottled water)Our dog Copper was very comfortable here and loved the dog visits from William and Jennifers dogs as well as the neighbors dogs. It was clean and comfortable. Perfect location for trail riding Bearwallow and Rockhouse. Washer & Dryer made my weekend..I like going home with my clothes already washed!'

'Clean and cute! Excellent communication from hosts Huge Fully equipped kitchen and island for cooking and snacking. The backyard was big and fenced for privacy. There are large gaps under the fence so keep a close eye on pets and little ones. The location was super convenient, though we experienced road noise from the big hiway. The third bedroom has a cute little bunk bed , could be a little tight for adults- worked out well for us. We recommend and would stay again!'

'AMAZING! It had extra trash bags, dishwasher pods; the things you need to leave it the way you found it. The hot tub was the reason we booked this cottage. It was a welcoming spot to relax after running the 50K in town. The fire pit was a nice way to unwind upon arrival. Thank you for thinking of all the little things. 'Very quite place way back from noise and business of city life. We were very busy with what we were doing but the campground around us looked peaceful. The cabin seemed newly built and had new furnishings. The only thing that was missing was a normal sized shower. The shower was very tiny and for the money it was overpriced. Other than that it was a good deal. '
