'We spent 4 lovely nights at Hotel Benvengudo. It was perfect relaxing escape in a tranquil setting, with beautiful gardens, a lovely pool, excellent food and friendly staff.
We travelled down on the TGV from Paris and the hotel is perfectly located for a quick transfer from Avignon TGV, with the dramatic Alpilles landscapes and Les Baux de Provence on the doorstep. St Remy de Provence and Arles are also both a short drive away.
Would definitely recommend and we hope to return.'

'The staff was fabulous. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious . Very close to center of St. Remy. Great location to see many of the nearby towns and sights such as Nimes, Arles and Pont du Gard. Definitely recommend this hotel. '

'We are just after staying for 2 nights at the property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, However was disappointed that breakfast is not included in the room rate considering the prices they charge for a room and the fact the property is not near any other breakfast options so have to have breakfast with them although selection was good price was a bit steep each '

'This is a delicious and well-run property with a long history. Everything was perfect..almost. Our suite was very comfortable, but it was VERY dark inside. It was long and the only natural light is from the door (glass). That was our main criticism. The only other little quibble is there was absolutely nowhere to hang our sumptuous robes, and so the cleaning crew (and it WAS a crew) took to hanging them on the shower door or folded (wet) by the tub.'

La seule réseve, mais en est-elle une réellement, sont les étages. Notre chambre au deuxième a mis à mal nos jambes de 77 et 76 ans. sans doute aurions-nous du le préciser.'

Suggestions, to leave water bottles in the rooms, and also to advise more on places to go around the area, that is spectacular from a touristic point of view.

It is a flower filled and sunlight drenched refuge, with the warmest owner Philippe, and I highly, highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area.
