'I booked this room during FIFA so there weren't many places available. I had to be in ATL for work early Sat. and I didn't have time to change my plans once I locked into this hotel. The location was quiet and seemed safe. My first room, on the ground floor, was not clean. The occasional chair was filthy and the beds were made, but there was hair (of many varieties), stains, tears/burn holes, etc. on all the sheets. I asked for another room. 'The first two rooms I got put into where either messed up like three lights didn’t work and one had a light bulb hanging by wires. Then the second room hadn’t been cleaned at all the third room was good. The assistant manager was apologetic and quick to move me rooms though so customer service there was good. The pool is freezing cold even though I believe it says heated indoor and the hottub was nice but not really hot just like warm bath water. When I got back from the pool area, an hour...

'The grounds are incredible. The café is bare bones in the mornings, however the coffee is amazing. The kitchen did a nice job with after hours food. We were there during a wedding so lots of noise. Note, no daily housekeeping. Will stay there again overall, a beautiful location, helpful staff, and lots of amenities to choose from. The room was well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable.'

'The room was clean, but televisions and door keys did not work. The reason told to me was that there was a thunder storm the day before and knocked out all the electronics and internet system. I ask for a discount and was told that Expedia would have to do that, because I made my reservation through them and not the hotel.'
