'The almost 100 year old family homestead was clean and nicely decorated. Our hosts Delon and Laura were very friendly. Beautiful views of the river and mountains. Lots of birds. This would be a good place for bird watchers. Short travel to suck creek with waterfalls and clear blue water on the sides of the road heading up the mountain to the ridge of canyon.'

The only complaint I would have would be the busy street and it's loud at night when you're trying to sleep but that's nothing the owner can control. Overall the house was perfect, fully stocked, very spacious but cozy! Great communication from the host and we enjoyed staying at this property.'

'We absolutely loved this little pocket of heaven. Perfect sized house for three people. So clean and minutes away from St Elmo strip. After long days spent in downtown Chatt, walking, hiking and exploring, we looked forward to coming back to this oasis and recharging. I miss it already and we are already looking at future dates when we can return! The owners were very quick to respond and super sweet. All to say, you should stay here :)'

The Happy Home is amazingly set up with details thought of for guests with young children to those like us gathering with adult family. 'The check in process was seamless and they even accommodated an early check in for us. We had a small issue with WiFi on one of the TVs and the host immediately came over to resolve the issues. 'This is a unique place! Funky decor style in an up and coming part of Chattanooga. Very large 2 bedroom/2 bath unit. The living area also has a twin daybed and trundle. Checked all of our boxes: comfy beds, modern bathrooms, walkable to many restaurants and even the Chattanooga aquarium (1.5 miles).'

'We gathered here to rally around a sick family member. We hadn’t all been together in 12 years. This home surpassed what we had hoped it would be. Large is understatement. View is awesome. Well equipped kitchen. Host was so personable. We made happy memories!'
