Dicks Creek Rd Whittier NC - 5 Miles van Sylva NC en 14 Miles van Cherokee NC

Zeer gezellige hut met veel charme. Wrap-around veranda omringt de cabine met veel schommelstoelen om te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht en de ruisende beek hieronder. Deze gezellige hut is je thuis weg van huis. Een wenteltrap brengt je naar de slaapkamer op de vliering waar het grote raam boven het bed je hoofdeinde is en het lijkt alsof je in de buitenlucht slaapt.

De hut zit halverwege de berg op ongeveer 3100 ft hoogte. Perfect om te genieten van de koele zomeravonden en het prachtige herfstgebladerte. Het is afgelegen, maar er zijn buren dichtbij genoeg voor comfort en je bent slechts 5 mijl van Sylva North Carolina, waar je de nieuwste restaurants en Super Walmart hebt voor je dagelijkse boodschappen en benodigdheden.

Er is genoeg te doen, zoals Harrahs Casino (20 minuten) en een mooie treinreis in Bryson City (20 minuten). We zijn ook slechts enkele minuten van wildwatervaren, dirt-bike rijden, ATV-routes, slangen, winkels en nog veel meer. Als u liever rustig aan doet, is er genoeg leesmateriaal en een speeltafel met voldoende spelletjes om u bezig te houden en kwaliteitstijd met uw geliefden te delen.

We hebben ook een extra hut op het terrein die beschikbaar is om te huren als u een groter gezelschap heeft,

We stayed the weekend for my birthday and the cabin was just the right size for us...my FAVORITE part of the cabin was the front porch, we stayed out on it more than we did inside, there is a small creek running in front so listening to it was really nice, I knew we would be in the woods so I bought bug spray...but thats gonna happen your in the woods but it wasn't really that bad...the only issue was the stairs in the living room are a little stepp so if your a really large person or REALLY bad knees you have have an issue but there is a sleeper sofa in the living room....another thing that I LOVED about the cabin was it was REALLY CLEAN!!!... the owners are very nice but we never seen them but if we needed them they was there

Perfect weekend trip!

My parnter and I needed a weekend trip to relax and recharge. This place was perfect! Its just the two of us and the space was perfect. The cabin is cute, clean and you can hear the creek anytime you are outside or if you open the windows! Had an awesome stay in this cabin. Very clean, and cozy. Easy check in and great people to rent from. Responded in a timely manner as well as being so nice. Perfection!

Decided on this place after reading the reviews, and so glad I did! Location was perfect and was a 15 - 20 minute drive to everywhere on our list to visit (Cherokee, Silva, Dillsboro, & Bryson city) and an hour to Gatlinburg. Cabin was perfect size for me and my other half all though a lot of laughs were had watching him go upstairs (6’3 and a bigger build) :) The wrap around porch was the perfect place to spend our mornings listening to the mountain side creek. Neighbors were friendly, and all though I wasn’t able to personally meet Steve and Denise as they were on their own vacation, they were in constant communication making sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Can’t wait to go back and already planning a trip for the summer!

Cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was great for us to be able to attend the outdoor drama “Unto These Hills”. The secluded environment and nearby creek made our stay relaxing. The cabin itself was comfortable and met all needs. We would recommend that a handle be added to the inside of the bathroom door, the pullout had some dog hair, and lastly it would be nice if the neighbors cleaned up their yard a bit. It would have also been helpful if the truck parked near the neighbors was moved. This would have made getting out of the driveway easier. Where the truck is parked would make a great space for backing the vehicle so we could have driven out instead of having to back down the driveway and the little bridge.

Very peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable

I had an excellent stay at the Cozy Cabin. I stayed for 3 nights and wish it could have been longer. The cabin was very comfortable, the porch was fantastic with an amazing view, and the location was perfect. Denise and Steve were very hospitable and warm, and I enjoyed meeting them. I would love to stay with them again, and recommend the cabin to anyone else looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay.
