'Hotel stay was okay for one night (but not much better). Older hotel in need of upgrade and repairs. Bathroom countertop broken and taps difficult to turn off. Breakfast was vouchers for fast food at the highway rest stop (and was only accepted as some (not all) vendors in the food fair. As foreign travellers we did not underestand that this hotel was located at the rest stop for a toll highway. ... Will give Days Inn by Wyndham a pass next time, as this is similar to our previous...

'De kamers zijn netjes en je hebt vrij weinig last van de snelweg waar het hotel staat. Het het personeel is vriendelijk. Alleen de gasten zorgde voor overlast in de nacht op de gang. Wij waren er dan ook in een drukke periode '

'It was not our first time in the Barns. I find it very good value. The rooms are large and clean and the breakfast is good. Plenty of parking and free wifi.'

'Absolutely seamless from booking to leaving. Great communication from manager Jay. Be aware that there is only 2 parking spaces on the front of the property, but on street parking is available. Room and kitchen were clean and tidy. Great place to stay would thoroughly recommend. The Alma Inn public house is a 7 minute drive away, it has an Indian restaurant attached to the pub, highly recommend the food, great selection and choice.'

'Dog friendly, helpful staff great for an overnight break on a long journey ( both ways!) Easy access from the M6 making a break from motorway driving. Penkridge is a really interesting place to stay and take a break on a long journey. Very welcoming villager and quiet away from the main road. However the pub is a little noisy at night ( we stayed on a hot summers night!)'

'Prima Hotel als je er 1 nacht wilt slapen. Personeel was vriendelijk en de facaliteiten zijn prima. '

'No reception or staff to greet you which was not an issue, I was emailed and messaged clear details of how to enter the property and my room. Car park at the side of the property was available and free to use. Spacious room and en suite. Room had a slight musty smell, difficult to have window open as near a busy room. When shut it is however quiet. Would I book again, yes. '
