  • This newly renovated 3 bedroom house is in central Cheticamp and is walking distance from restaurants, whale tours, the information bureau and so much more. It is the perfect location to watch boats coming into the harbour and to watch the sunset. There is a BBQ on the side deck with new patio furniture. This spacious house has everything you need to enjoy your getaway.

    If you are bringing a pet, please know that they can’t be left alone at the house unattended unless in a kennel. Please use the blankets to cover the couches at all times, and pick up after them in the yard. We are animal lovers ourselves and want to keep our home open to pets .

The place was recently renovated and very clean and well accessorized. Bathroom was brand new and spacious. Location was central to everything, including hiking and restaurants and waterfront view. This is an excellent place to stay. I will definitely book the same place again.

We loved this house! Great location for walking around town and lovely views. Layout of the house and the decor was really nice. Thoughtful welcome basket was a nice touch and communication with the owner was very easy. We would love to stay here again!

Great property...clean, easy to access Cape Breton sites, and dog friendly. Melanie was helpful and promptly answered all questions we had. Highly recommend this home away from home!

Wonderful property!

We had a lovely stay at this cute and comfortable cottage. It is well-furnished and everything is provided to make a stay feel like a home from home.Melanie's communication was excellent, and we were delighted with the rhoughtful welcome gifts of wine and chocolates. The firepit is a great touch to keep it cosy and warm on the pationI would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting Cheticamp.

Beautiful House

We were in love with this property. It was a perfect little home that maximized their space perfectly and had everything we needed. It was very clean, the owner was timely in their response and very helpful with everything we needed. 10/10 would stay here again! πŸ’™

The good: the house was recently renovated so was pretty nice, beds were reasonably comfy, nice to have at least some a/c, and sitting on deck in evening was nice. The not as good: the a/c was not in one of the bedrooms upstairs nor the main floor bedroom, so it was warm in these bedrooms. There was a fan provided but it was old and too noisy to use. There is a fair bit of Reno debris in the property which detracted from the experience. The price was a bit high for what you get but it was okay
