Staff members were very pleasant, property was clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable, room temperature adjusted to my needs, and I really appreciated the proximity to the Salt Creek Greenway Trail.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and the staff is amazing. I was coming back from the hot tub and someone stopped me and asked how it was. The desk staff engaged my 6 year old in the conversation and remembered us every time we walked by. The staff at the breakfast place were extremely attentive and so nice. Food was great, I love their hot tub and pool. The room suite has pocket doors separating the 2 beds which is great for privacy. Any time I go to Chicago I stay here and just make the drive into the city because this place is so great.

Great stay. Only weakness was terrible room coffee and no option for regular coffee in lobby. Only option for coffee was purchase of full breakfast. Small cost to remedy. Pretty big return on investment.

The property is very welcoming and very elegant on the inside. The food was over priced and very disgusting, more like a school lunch. There are bed bugs because me and my children got bit up in our sleep. After seeing more reviews that is the one I see the most! Everyone complains of bed bugs. Over all it was nice just very unsanitary and horrible overpriced school lunch food!

Good Morning Nicole. After we spoke, I had my pest control server come out. I hope it puts your mind at ease that there were no signs of bed bugs in your room or throughout the property. I’ve stayed here twice in the last year for surgeries in Oakbrook and boy do I love it here. We stayed in a suite this time around and it was so roomy! The bathrooms are updated, the bed is super comfy and the pool and hot tub are one of the better ones. The staff is great and super friendly - they have a convenient area where they have drinks and snacks and the lobby is very inviting. The only con would be the suite didn’t have 2 TVs like the picture or a king size bed like it said - it was a queen which is fine but not as advertised. Or maybe it was a king, but it felt very small? Either way, if I have to go back, I will always come back here.

Room was nice enough, although the toilet was the shortest I have ever seen, somewhat difficult to navigate. Amenities were good, indoor pool and hotub and a nice workout area with treadmills, free weights, stair stepper etc. The lounge/bar and Bistro were very good, we had dinner at the Bistro one night - Bistro Burger and fries were quite good; breakfast choices were similar to a diner menu and also good. Everything is al a cart so can be alittle costly but is very convenient if you don't want to venture out.

Check-in and checkout was easy and simple. Walls are thin so we could easily hear next door neighbors. Bathroom was in pretty good condition. Bed was really comfy and the room seemed clean enough. Overall, stay was good.

Elizabeth was friendly when she checked us in. The beds are comfy like all Marriotts are known for. However, the facility should be updated. The ceiling in the room and the edges of the door were peeling. The water pressure could be improved. Was disappointed I couldn't watch WGN due to the lack of channels. The staff was great, but overall the hotel/room needs work.
