From taxis to restaurants etc. The apartment is in a residential area about 2-3 blocks from the main road so it’s very quiet and convenient. 'B&B Il Grappolo is a wonderful place to stay! It is like your own private villa with a beautiful view of the city from above. Maria and her daughter Angela are warm and friendly (but note Maria doesn't speak English at all). The breakfasts are excellent. Their dog barks a lot and may cause some concern when you first approach, but the owners calm it down. Important note: the B&B isn't in town where a taxi or bus can drop you off. 'This is certainly a B&B with a view - located uphill from the Marina Grande, we enjoyed a fantastic sea views. The rooms are newly decorated in tones of blue and the bathroom is exceptional. The only snag is that we had to climb three flights of stairs as there is no lift in this building. I am not sure I read this when making the reservation ..........'
