'Good price. That’s about it. I would spend the extra money towards a decent hotel. Bathtub was stained and dirty so we didn’t even shower. Room smell like smoke. Broken furniture. I didn’t trust the bed so I only laid on top of it.'

'Great location. Bathrooms need updating. Temperature of shower was either extremely cold or burning hot. Bathtub porcelain needed repair. Card key worked once. Had to go up and down the elevator 4 times and get 4 different cards taking 20-30 minutes to get back into the room, until one finally worked. No phone in the room to call the front desk, or housekeeping for an extra blanket or towels. This is concerning if there had been a bigger issue.'

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'Hotel is under renovation, so common areas and elevators were rough. Room was nicely renovated and clean. Shower and sink drains were SUPER slow and the hall/room was very humid. Like…door didn’t automatically latch humid. No bathroom fan which is a personal pet peeve and didn’t help with humidity level in the room.
Overall nice and would stay here again.'

'The front desk employees were a tremendous help. Great customer service there. However, the grounds were very poorly kept. There were sticky spots all over the food stained floors in the dining area. The room smelled of old, used cleaning water. The towels and bedding matched the same terrible smell. The mattress was very old and had little to no support. Do not recommend at all.'
