'The staff were very kind and helpful. We stayed here because of the high rating, but have to be honest that this is NOT a 9.6 out of 10 hotel. It is older, the furniture is quite dated and the tv is the smallest that I’ve seen in a long time!! It was clean, but really needs updating in order to qualify for the rating it has. Our AC did not work consistently. If you want a nice person at the desk and clean rooms for the price, then by all means, stay here.'

'The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Granddaughter enjoyed the heated pool. Breakfast was good but was not kept replenished. A little problem at check , language barrier, I spoke English and she didn't. All on all it was good would stay there again.'

'Fully furnished kitchen with good quality cookware (no Teflon), close to grocery store, Lake Lure, and a lovely private backyard and screened-in porch. Every detail from closet hangers, luggage rack, beach towels, and toiletries were provided. One of the best places I've every stayed!'

'Very friendly staff and the snacks and water provided for free were super handy on our travel day. '

'Was ruim van formaat en goed ongedeelt. Behoorlijke keuken faciliteiten'
