'Wonderful oasis of calm.'

'Great Hotel in the center of the city . Me and my husband really enjoyed staying at the ViaVia Boutique hotel. The hotel rooms, lobby and hallway have nice colorful Tibetan decorations and our room had smart tv, cooling/heating system and a rain shower. The quiet neighborhood has very little traffic and the breakfast is much better than all the other hotels we stayed at. Being so close to Pashupatinath, Bodnath, Kopan and Shivapuri national park makes it a good option to explore the Kathmandu...

'Well-located gem in the middle of Boudha--minutes from Boudhanath Stupa, major monasteries, and plenty of shopping. The cheerful staff will strive to make your stay perfect. Rooms are clean and comfortable with nicely renovated bathrooms. Hotel Butsugen is a real find!'

'Check in took very long as the hotel ran out of key cards and was unable to provide them until the next morning. There was also a very loud party going on at the rooftop because of which the noise was percolating to the rooms on higher floors. Had to request a lower floor room that did not have any noise which was then provided. Breakfast was good and the staff tried to be helpful during our stay. '

'Cheap and cheerful. Somewhat faded and needs a bit of tlc. But great for the price. Lovely decor in lobby, just like a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. My room was very large (a twin) and very bright, with 3 windows. It was overlooking a playing field with trees. Vinyl flooring was good, I noticed other rooms had old looking carpets.
