'This was a great home-base as we trekked around Assateague and Chincoteague on our honeymoon. Very convenient to the Virginia side entrance to Assateague and the kitchen is perfect for breakfast and simple dinners. 'Definitely recommend this place. We were in town for a wedding and only stayed 2 nights so we didn’t get to enjoy all the island has to offer but our experience was very positive. The host, Chip, was extremely responsive when I had a question and the fact that they had toys available for our grandson to play with was a nice touch. 'Enjoyable property. I booked this property because it had a DVD. Seaside Vacations brought us a new DVD player when we didn’t see the DVD. Maintenance could not fix the 2 burner cooking unit in the counter and actually bought a 2 burner electric unit that we could plug in. The key box was a little hard to open but we did manage to open it to get our key. This unit was very convenient to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and Assateague National Seashore. '
