'The rooms are basic but really good. Just need stronger fans as it was very humid. But the people and the place is amazing. Our tour was excellent, the local crew who took us for the crew were the best. The food served in an island was one of the best we ate.

'First off , the staff.. so so amazing. I had gotten food poisoning from a tour I did, and they were so helpful keeping me hydrated and had tablets to let me enjoy my vacation.
The food options were great, many options. This can just be your stay without ever visiting town. The view was jaw dropping everyday. Aircon was strong , even had to turn it off it got so cold. Room was well kept , and no issues with mosquitos unless you kept door open.

'This is far from the city so I booked this place after spending 2 days in downtown. The cottages are very private but so inconvenient if you want to go to the pool. It was a hike to get to the pool, also, unfortunately we had a post op family member, so she was not able to go. The pool was not maintained, paint in the pool was chipping and the water was murky. It was dirty(green), The post did not mention that the beach in their location was not swimmable. I was told I have to rent a boat to get...
'It was an amazing stay eventhough we stayed only 1 night! The wonderfull surroundings, the friendly owner Paolo, the good service, the fiendly staff, security, the great houseboat with all his great details, the restaurant, it was fantastic!
We ordered lunch and breakfast to be delivered by boat to our houseboat and everything went perfect! The food delivered on time and it was delicious. For sure, next time we will come back with the kids!!

'We visited during the low season, so the resort was quiet and it often felt like we had the island to ourselves. We had a private pool with our room, although we did not use it much as the resort was quiet and the main pool was enjoyable.
The private pool itself was nice, although there were some areas that could benefit from maintenance. For example, the handrail showed some rust, and some of the nails on the outdoor floorboards appeared to need securing and were also slightly rusty.

'During our stay it was low season, so the hotel felt deserted at times (thought there was always staff there). However: The atmosphere must be amazing if there are more visitors. The pool area and gardens in the hotel are awesome and definitely a great place for children. The "restaurant" (which was actually the pool bar serving food) could improve a lot on quality though. Breakfast (in another place) is good though.
