'Prima hotel en mooie kamer. Goede locatie als je naar The Stockton Globe gaat. De bedden zijn wel erg hard en er zit een brandmelder boven het bed die elke paar seconden knippert. Hierdoor hebben wij niet goed geslapen.
De foto's die hierbij staan van het mooie strand en de pier zijn wat misleidend, aangezien dit een half uur verderop ligt met de auto. Niet bij het hotel dus!'

There was a problem with the boiler, affecting the central heating, but the receptionist provided a portable electric heater when it couldn't be sorted. Showers were electric so worked, and were nicely fitted out.
I added the breakfast, which was really good value.

Then curly wurly was a great idea instead of biscuits in the room. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The inn is perched up right on the edge of the moors with some stunning views.
It is a 2 min walk down the hill to the beautiful hamlet or up the very steep hill to the ruins of the old iron ore furnaces.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic we would book again.

The small tea/coffee station with some breakfast options included in the room was the bit the bowled me over… a treat at 6am, cereal & fruit, new milk & yogurt, plus proper coffee bags, even a tray to carry it to the table.
I did eat downstairs within the restaurant on the 1st night which was fab… calzone pizza special & cookie dough special were both tasty &...
