  • Welkom bij Villa Tortuga! Tortuga betekent "schildpad" in het Spaans. Het is een gated, goed onderhouden pand in een goed gevestigde wijk in Christiansted. Deze mooie woning ligt op iets minder dan een acre van weelderige, tropische paradijs. Brilliant flamboyant bomen en uitzicht op zee begroeten u als u door de poort te openen. Je eerste stappen door de voordeur van deze vakantie paradijs trekt je ogen onmiddellijk naar het spectaculaire uitzicht. Terwijl u het nieuw gebouwde, ongelooflijke 1000 vierkante voet dek oploopt, worden de uitzichten nog adembenemender. Het uitgestrekte dek heeft verschillende vignetten om te genieten van het ontbijt, het diner, ontspannen, een boek lezen of genieten van de zon. De opvattingen van dit huis staan voorop. Op heldere dagen kun je St. zien John naar links. Als de avond valt, wordt het uitzicht een paradijs voor dromers. Het interieur is zowel elegant en tropische. Het heeft donker mahoniehouten meubelen, geaccentueerd met levendige Caribische kleuren. Er is een 50-inch flatscreen-tv in de woonkamer (compleet met Netflix) en een flatscreen-tv in de slaapkamer. De master bedroom beschikt ook over een eigen badkamer. Elke slaapkamer heeft een queen size bed. Daarnaast is er een queen size slaapbank in de woonkamer. Villa Tortuga is rustig en vredig, maar het is slechts 5 minuten van het centrum van Christiansted, winkels en restaurants. Als u ervoor kiest om te koken thuis, Villa Tortuga is ook slechts een paar minuten afstand van de plaatselijke supermarkt. Open de deuren van uw Caribische vakantie in Villa Tortuga!

Stunning views and beautiful property

We came here for a long weekend and already are looking to come back! This property is in the perfect location with an absolutely unbelievable view of town! The host was extremely responsive to any questions we had and the house is complete with anything you would need. We love love love this property and can’t wait to plan our next trip back!

We loved our stay in the Villa Tortuga. On our last full day we decided that staying on the deck and in the hot tub with the heater off was a better choice than heading to another beach! Someone should advise the landlord that Jets #2 were not functioning and were coming on but then kicking off right away, which to me an old CPO would indicate a faulty electrical connection or a compromised pump which should be addressed ASAP for safety reasons. Not a problem, just an observation. And we never had to turn on any air conditioning because the Trade Winds kept us more then comfortable. Thank you so much!

Fantastic home

From the moment we pulled up to the gate The property was absolutely beautiful. The house is meticulously maintained. The views were spectacular and James was great communicating with us. The home had everything we needed and for being the 3rd place we stayed on our two week visit to the property we got some much needed relax time, we would definitely like to stay here again on our return visit.

Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck in the hot tub, dining, or just gazing at the view. The house was nicely furnished, with plenty of beach towels and bath towels. We also used the sand toys, nice beach chairs, snorkel gear, and washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable and sleeping with the breeze coming in was the best! We would recommend this house to anyone! Thank you James!

Private home with scenic views

We had a lovely stay at Villa Tortuga. While near Christiansted, the property is very private and secluded with gate entry. Situated upon a high hill, views of the harbor are splendid. We did not miss a sunrise, which can be enjoyed from the deck or living room, which has expansive windows and sliding glass doors. The kitchen had a few items to help us get started, which we appreciated. The host was very responsive to all of our questions. If you don’t mind a bit of a hike, go to Jack and Isaac’s beach. Stunning!

Central Location with Amazing Views

We loved our stay at Villa Tortuga! The home had lots of nice accommodations including beach towels, water bottles, beach chairs etc. The location is great - outside of busy Christiansted but also a quick drive to amenities. Also very easy to drive to Frederiksted/Cane Bay etc. We spent a few nights in the hot tub relaxing after long beach days which was such a nice addition. The gate/house code was easier to figure out. If you type in "Villa Tortuga" into Google Maps, it navigates you right to the house which is helpful in the dark! If we return to St Croix, we will certainly stay here again!

Amazing views

We were on St Croix for 2 weeks and stayed at Dan and Frans for the second week. Dan was a great host reaching out to us with check in instructions days before arrival at his house. He was prompt in response and addressed our needs via message quickly. Views were spectacular and house was perfect for our 3 kids under 10. We loved the pool and caught every sunrise on the deck. Location was central to allow us to hit all parts of the island in 20 mins. Neighborhood was safe with guard at the entrance. Truly a great spot!

The guest bath toilet leaked and flooded the guest bath on the first night. We reported it, and the bathroom was unusable for the trip. I would have expected a couple hundred bucks back but the host didn’t offer and didn’t respond to my request for partial refund which was disappointing. The stay was otherwise pleasant.

Amazing House with Amazing View

We had a lovely stay at this house for a week. James was very responsive with any questions we had. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped. House is beautifully decorated with nice furniture. The most scenic drive was out towards Point Udall and around the southeast shore. The prettiest beach was Carambola. You can park just before the entrance and take the stairs down through the resort. The best swimming beach was Sandy Point out by Frederiksted. There’s also a really good restaurant on the beach, called Rhythms at Rainbow Beach. We also had two friendly cat brothers who came to visit us every day. I would definitely stay here again.

Dream Honeymoon at Tortuga!

When we arrived, we were stunned by the beauty of the property! It feels like you're in a secluded tropical oasis and the view from the balcony is priceless. We spent a lot of time just looking out across the island throughout the day. The home is incredibly quiet and peaceful - we did not want to leave. The inside of the home is open with high ceilings, nice rooms, and great showers. We enjoyed the 3 setting rain shower in the master room! The Jacuzzi was also a wonderful touch especially on our honeymoon and after adventuring during the day. One suggestion would be providing a more invited and welcomed guest feel - at times it felt like we did not always have ready access to what we needed. For example, working batteries for flashlights during the power outage or a newer, more user-friendly coffeemaker. Very minor things though. We absolutely would return to Villa Tortuga! We were so sad to leave and would love to go back one day.
