Seaside Fantasy - 20' from SEA

This condo was renovated with all new windows/sliders, furniture, new appliances, comfy king bed, etc. in 2019. Everything you'll need for the beach is supplied, such as beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen, snorkel gear, and a cooler. The kitchen is supplied with nice pots & pans/skillets and other gadgets for you to cook a good meal. You walk in the entrance door and can see the ocean directly out front. Large sliding doors from the living room and the bedroom, open up onto your patio, and pool is steps away. Watch sunrises come over Buck Island and let the waves lull you to sleep. This ground level condo has parking right outside your gate of entrance (directly behind your condo). Conveniently located about 3 miles from Christiansted, and is also walking distance to The Palms Resort/Restaurant/Beach. Several condo complexes in the area and also residential housing.

Birthday getaway
Had a fantastic time in St. Croix, the condo was in a quiet neighborhood and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night was very relaxing. The condo was just as described in the listing, the only down side is there is no a/c units although most nights the breeze from the ocean made it tolerable but during the day it was extremely hot inside the unit.

Quiet spot outside of town
We have visited St. Croix before but never stayed on the north side/Christiansted area. This condo complex is in a sleepy neighborhood right on the ocean but there is not direct ocean access (that’s ok, the winds were wild and we had a high surf advisory for most of our time!). The pool is nice to be able to watch the water and swim. It felt like we were the only ones in the complex so it was very private. The space itself is small but cozy for 2 adults. We made breakfast each day before going out to explore and a few days brought takeout home for lunch/dinne- there is a nice patio table outside which was where we dined with a beautiful view. Probably would not have been able to cook a big meal in the space though there is plenty of cookware, etc. There is no air conditioning in the unit but the winds blow a nice cross breeze through so you can sleep with the windows open and the sounds of waves crashing, which is perfect. The biggest issue was confusion about the water- it was not totally clear if it was really safe to drink out of the tap (“treated from a cistern”) which we didn’t know before we got there. Not a huge deal, just had to buy gallon jugs to have. It’s about a 10 minute drive to town where there are plenty of bars/restaurants and one night Rose gave us a taxi name and we were able to go round trip for 2 for $40. Overall, enjoyed our stay but prefer the west end vibe.

Lovely Condo Unit on the ocean
The unit is a small, well equipped condo apartment with a patio located right next to the pool and ocean seawall. Overall, very clean and thoughtfully equipped with with coffee, tea, wine and beer (!), etc. It is a bit off the beaten path, but worth the short trip from Christiansted. Our host was very accommodating with directions and help, even offering to give us a ride to a restaurant or car rental facility. A car rental is a near necessity for this location.

Perfect place!
Awesome stay that couldn’t be any closer to the ocean. The view is amazing and it’s situated perfectly. Christiansted is very accessible and you can get to either side of the island in just a short drive. The host is very easy to communicate with and have us awesome information about activities throughout the island. They were so nice and extremely helpful and accommodating. We had an issue with the ferry and they went above and beyond to help us. Would absolutely stay again!

Our stay at seaside fantasy was the perfect getaway. The condo was clean and had the necessities provided for us, and we loved being able to swim in the pool while listening to the waves. There was a great view of the water and just a short walk to the beach (pelican cove) where we snorkeled. There is also a good restaurant near by open for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Rose and Joel were wonderful hosts. We were so glad we decided to stay here!

Soothing and gorgeous view
First, Rose was just amazing with communication and providing me with things to do around the area. As for the property, it’s is conveniently located just steps away from the water. The view is gorgeous and the sound of the wave crashing is just soothing. If you want to go to the beach the beach entrance is about a 5 minute walk from the property. When you arrive at the beach you’ll be just walking distance to The Palms at Pelican Cove. There you can have drinks and dinner if you choose. I would recommend having a rental car to get around the island. At nights, the sounds of the waves and the breeze of the ocean was soothing while winding down. While the property doesn’t have A/C it’s really not needed because the breeze is just great. Overall 5/5 for the property and Rose (host).

Anniversary getaway

40th birthday celebration
This was the perfect getaway for my daughter's birthday. We loved everything about the condo from the colors to the proximity to the ocean. Rose was wonderful and very responsive to any questions we had. The location was very convenient to every place we wanted to visit and both of us would love to come back every year. The only problem we had was finding the condo at dusk, but that was because the plane was late and Rose was available to help us out with that. Thank you Rose and Joel
