'Beautiful stay, in a traditional looking Japanese hotel. All rooms seem to have Mt. Fuji views which. Was stunning. So does the Onsen. Reception area looks just renovated, very nicely done. Rooms in good condition too, same for spa area. Only area that still can be done is hallwaysz but then again who cares for these. The staff is super kind and helpful, one of the best places we have stayed during our trip!'

'In het echt is dit Hotel nog veel mooier dan men volgens de foto's op internet zou verwachten. Het is een hotel met een enorm luxe inrichting, en met een daarbij behorende service en restaurants. er zijn twee grote restaurants. de een japans en de ander een Frans restaurant, welke wel aan de prijzige kant zijn. de twee restaurants hebben een fantastisch uitzicht over het meer (lake) Ashi. Het hotel is prima te bereiken met Hakone Highway bussen welke in ons geval vertrok vanuit het sinjuku...

'We had a great stay! The onsen experience and breakfast are amazing, and the the hotel provides all the details you can hope for. Because of the way the hotel is built, and the beautiful garden, it is a must-do especially during fall. We should have stayed longer!'

'The stay at Konansou was amazing and the rooms as well as in room dining experience was fantastic. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options. All set in idealic lakeside location.'

'Goed hotel met uitzicht op Mount Fuji. Service en ontbijt zijn goed. Hotel is echter verouderd en aan renovatie toe. Gratis shuttle van en naar het station is ook een pluspunt.'

'Beautiful - the only negative was that an excavator was parked right in the window views next to the river. You couldnt take a photo of the entire view without the excavator in it. '
