'Room was well appointed and the staff was excellently professional as one would expect from a 5 star hotel. Location was next to and connected by a bridge with the landmark Sky Tower and a short 15 minute walk to the waterfront, ferries etc. Restaurant (the Grill) served excellent breakfast selection. We spent a wonderful week at the Horizon Hotel.'

'DeBrett is a beautiful hotel, with a very original interior design. Location is perfect in downtown Auckland. Room was clean, service good. The free daily drink in the guest-only library room is a very nice feature and gives the hotel a home-like feeling. Complimentary continental breakfast is basic but good. 'Greeted by friendly welcoming staff. Smooth and easy check in. We had paid for room prior to arrival. Our group was wanting parking for our vehicle. I did not request this at the time of booking. By the time we had arrived at accommodation, there were no spots left. The staff kindly advised that the carpark across the road could accommodate us.
