'Front desk was very friendly and nice, the room was great and clean. We booked a Deluxed Studio room with queen bed: it has a medium size fridge, kitchenette, microwave, table and chair, own washroom and shower. It is like a mini studio apartment. Overall stay was good! The property itself is good, although it is small but it is secure. The building is not fancy like a 4 star hotel but if you need a night to stay it is good, clean and comfy. 'Nice Hotel! Fairly close to downtown and close to History. We went to a concert at History and this was the closest hotel. We loved the Rooftop restaurant and enjoyed the view, food and service. The room was clean and had a nice updated bathroom. The bed was so comfortable. Convenient location with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. There is a Green P parking lot right across the street. It was about $30 for overnight parking. I would stay here again. '

I can live with that, but the host made a mistake with the checkout time they listed on Expedia and then refused to honour it. Late checkout was one of the reasons I picked this place! They unsympathetically rushed me out before the listed check out time (due to their mistake!!) and I ended up missing a day of remote work as I was kicked to the curb with my bags. 'We stayed in The Anndore House for the 8th time. And again we felt very welcome and at home! We were upgraded to a corner room. We really liked having extra seating space and a coffee machine. We will book at The Anndore House again in the spring!'

'Almost everything is really good. Above all the fitness area is outstanding for hotel standards. But the showers / water pressure is horrible. At one point the shower was barely dripping. Brought it up to the staff and they were willing to help, but the problem was not fixed (not the fault of the staff)'
