'I have stayed at the Horse and Jockey several times now. The rooms are simple (and the beds an le comfy and cozy all we need). Tthe shared bathrooms are great. Nice and clean and have an art deco style vibe. The pub had a great menu and the vibe is good. Will continue to come back. '

'The room is satisfactory in terms of cleaning. was but carpet is smelly. Staff are very friendly. Also, I stayed at this hotel many times before. I noticed that the shampoo, conditioner and body soap are totally empty - nobody seems to be refilling the bottles. This has happened on three occasions now. I’ve had to shower with no soap which was terrible. '

'This is a great location! Next to a park, two blocks from the big Westfield indoor mall (has food court, shops and 3 grocery stores), and the many restaurants of Burwood (mainly Asian). It’s also close to the Burwood train station where you can take the express train into Sydney center. The apartment is very well appointed, full fridge/freezer, washer/dryer as well. Everything is very clean and organized. There’s no daily cleaning, but the staff is very nice and if you need anything refilled...

'Amazing little place to stay, Heaps of cool things to do within the building, Would be a great spot for a big group , has bbqs and great hanging spots. All staff were so kind and helpful and gave great recommendations to check out in Sydney. Highly recommend and definitely would stay again. '

'I stayed here once before and in my memory I was pretty happy back then. The room that I had now was not in a good condition, dirty walls that needed painting and also the furniture was dirty and have a lot of stains. Also housekeeping could do a better job as it was far from spotless. Breakfast looked nice but not much healthy options. They do offer laundry service, but it is crazy expensive (more expensive than most five star hotels). Based on this stay, I will not return!'
