'Love the Portland Guest House, fantastic location for wide choice of restaurants in the town. The place is always spotless and the staff are so friendly. Entry is now via key box system and breakfast has moved over to Continental only. This still offers a good choice of food and drinks. Defo recommend the place.'

'Het is een mooi ingericht hotel, maar voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn een uitdaging. Veel op/afstapjes, een douche in een bad en geen lift. Wij vonden het eten matig en duur. De prijs was geen probleem geweest als de kwaliteit prima was. Onze ervaring was dat met name het vlees (veel zenen en taai en bij de roast niet echt warm) geen goede kwaliteit had. Bij reclameren werd het weliswaar opgelost, maar het moet natuurlijk meteen goed gaan. '
