Een absolute aanrader

Dankjewel Maria voor de heerlijke week in Toscane. Het huis is ruim en we hebben genoten van het prachtige uitzicht vanuit de keuken en het mooie zwembad. Al met al een absolute aanrader voor families en vriendengroepen. We komen graag nog eens terug.

Lovely stay at the best place to be!

We stayed at the residence for 1 week and the experience was beyond our expectations. What a beautiful place to be. We enjoyed everything. A fantastic pool, nice and clean rooms, plenty of room for relaxing and eating. Beautiful views around and last but not least the hospitality of our host!

My family of 8 adults just finished a magical week in Maria’s family estate. We had plenty of room as the house is divided into suites. The main floor has a common living room and kitchen area, which was a barn long ago. (If you cannot climb stairs, one suite is ground level.)The views and sunsets from the kitchen are breath taking! There are many areas to eat al fresco and the beautiful and large pool was used daily. The house is surrounded by Maria’s lush olive grove and cypress trees which provided privacy. The flower boxes are all blooming and the property is obviously lovingly cared for. The house is conveniently situated between Citta Della Pieve (great restaurants!) and Chiusi. We visited as far away as Montalcino, Arezzo, Orvieto, Assisi, (all within an hour drive) and everywhere in between. We will remember PODERE TRESA forever for providing an enchanting base for our Tuscany/ Umbria adventure! Thank you, Maria, for sharing your family home with us!

What a magical place!

I booked Podere Tresa to celebrate my 50th birthday with family and friends, there were 9 of us, 6 adults two kids age 12 and one 16, staying for the week, 10 more came to stay for a couple of days. Our flight was in the evening so we didnt arrive until late at night but even with the dark the property looked stunning, however, is only in the morning we could really appreciate how special it is, the views are just amazing from any place of the house, more you walk around the property more you will find a perfect spot to just sit and indulge your eyes at different time of the day. The house is spacious with comfortable beds and space for everyone to relax and have their own space. The communal areas are big enough for large groups to have dinners or lounge around. The swimming pool is amazing with again beautiful views. We used the common kitchen every day and it is equipped for many people with again great views during the day and night. We had the chef that Maria Laura recommended, cooking us dinner one night, it was delicious and and really good value for the money. The area has plenty of places to visit and restaurants, bars, stores near by the house. Maria Laura was an extremely good host always on hand to answer questions and on the last day, as our flight was in the evening, she let us stay until the afternoon as no one was due to check in. She made our last day the perfect end to a magical holiday. We will be back for sure, this place definitely exceed my expectation.

Perfekte Location

Wir haben als gesamte Familie eine ganze Woche dort verbracht und es sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt abgeschieden auf einem Hügel, so dass man ganz ungestört seinen Urlaub dort verbringen kann. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und gleichzeitig sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch die umliegenden Städte haben ihren ganz eigenen, wunderschönen Charme. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett, sehr hilfsbereit und unterstütz jederzeit. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wish it would last forever

What a marvellous place! We had rented the whole property (12 adults, 5 children) so we had lot of space. It was during the hottest period in many years, but the pool and sensible managing of windows/doors meant no big problems. The magnificent views over the landscape was breathtaking. The big kitchen was center during the whole week and also when we by the help of Maria Laura had arranged with a nearby restaurant coming to cook for and with us. What a wonderful experience. Ypperlig bolig for over 20 personer

Et utrolig flott sted som hadde tatt vare på sin historie. Imponerende orden og et enestående svømmebasseng. Lite måtte ordnes, og det ble gjort i en fart. Flott vertskap. Etter 7 ganger i Italia, kunne vi tenke oss å leie dette stedet en gang til. Veien opp til huset var elendig p.g.a. mye vann. Bortsett fra det, var plassen unik.

A dream of a house and great accommodation for families

Podere Tresa is a dream and the owner is an angel. We had unforgettable days at this beautiful farmers house in the middle of Italy. We were a group of 19 people including 3 children and were one week at the residence. The house is perfectly located with a fantastic view over Umbria and Tuscany. The house offers a lot of space, nature and a great pool. Ideal for families and larger groups up to 21 people. It was very clean and the house and rooms were in good shape. We did a lot of cooking ourselves in the large common kitchen. It could be that you have to improvise a bit with the pots and utensils in the kitchen for very large groups. For us it was still feasible. There is also much to experience in the surrounding area from Citta della Pieve over Montepulciano to Bagni San Filippo. There are many shopping opportunities as well in the immediate neighborhood for e.g. food. Maria, the owner, was very pleasant and very helpful. She even brought a new coffee machine on the first day and we could ask her anything. Once she helped us to order pizza to Podere Tresa, as my Italian is not very good, but her English wonderful #TranslationSupport. Overall, we have been so grateful that we could be guests at Podere Tresa, experience unforgettable days and can only warmly recommend the location to everyone. We will come back again! Traumhaft - Freude und Erholung pur

Wir verbrachten mit unserer Familie, 16 Personen mit Kindern zwischen 1 und 17 Jahren, im August unseren Familienurlaub auf Podere Tresa. Alle haben dieses schöne große Landhaus auf dem weitläufigen, gepflegten, von Zypressen, Pinien und Olivenbäumen umsäumten Anwesen auf Anhieb geliebt. Für alles war Raum: Schön die Zimmer mit Aussicht, schön die Plätze und Terrassen, von denen aus in jeder Perspektive ein weiter, traumhafter Blick in die wunderschöne Landschaft und über das Anwesen schweifen konnte. Alles war möglich: Herrlich die Gemeinschaftsküche, in der wir gemeisam kochten und aus der wir beim Essen die Weite der wundervollen Landschsft und grandiose Sonnenuntergänge genossen. Wer die Ruhe suchte, fand einen Platz für sich. Das Grillhäuschen und Spielhaus wurden genauso genutzt wie der große Pool, ebenfalls sehr gepflegt, der natürlich ein Highlight mit hinreißendem Blick über die Landschaft und sehr besucht war. Unsere Gastgeberin Maria Laua hat sich in ihrer offenen und freundlichen Art bestens um uns gekümmert und mit Informationen und Tipps versorgt. Es war traumhaft - Freude und Erholung pur!!!

Absolutely wonderful stay, and totally fulfilled our expectations

The house and all the property was wonderful with spectacular view. We were a family of 16 people, with infants, children and teenagers and everyone loved the place. Each family had their private space of bedrooms and bathrooms and there is a possibility of having a private kitchen as well even though we chose to use only the common kitchen. The only thing that could be better in the common kitchen is a bigger fridge, as there are so many people. The house is soundproof, meaning we didn’t hear the others at night or mornings which is essential when the age range is so broad. The pool area was very nice and clean. Maria Laura was a wonderful host, very responsive to messages and went out of her way to make our stay pleasurable and even help to arrange for a cook to come to the house one evening. We would absolutely recommend this place and hopefully stay there again.

Großes Landhaus mit wunderbarer Aussicht

Wir haben mit insgesamt vier Familien in diesem herrlichen Anwesen eine Woche Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus und der Garten sind rustikal, großzügig und sehr gut gepflegt. Der Salzwasserpool im Olivenhain ein echtes Highlight. Die Aussicht ist gerade in den Abendstunden spektakulär. Während wir da waren, war es durchgehend sehr warm, daher haben wir das große Wohnzimmer und die Spiele-Scheune nicht genutzt, aber für kühlere Tage ist das Haus auch gut gerüstet. Maria ist sehr freundlich, hilfreich und steht für alle großen und kleinen Fragen zur Verfügung. Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Idyllic and fun week with our group

We were a group of 8 adults and 6 children (ages 2-7). Podere Tresa was the perfect place for us! We spent many days just chilling and cooking at the house, but explored also Montepulciano and Citta della Pieve. Maria Laura was very helpful and easy to communicate with. She also connected us with a local chef and we had a lovely dinner in the garden. The house itself provided enough room for everyone’s privacy, but also room inside and outside for hanging out together. Especially the kitchen and pool were places where we spent a lot of time together. I would warmly recommend staying at Podere Tresa!

You may look at the photos of this amazing villa and wonder should we, but trust me if you choose this amazing villa with the most beautiful views you will be so glad you did. We were 9 adults and 4 children ranging from 9yrs to 74 and the accommodation was perfect. We had great weather and the pool was used everyday by all we also cooked most meals in and ate in the kitchen or one the many other seating areas .The location is just right for e visiting the many nearby towns and Rome and Florence by train. Noi eravamo un gruppo di 17 persone motociclisti. La prima cosa da dire é che per arrivare al podere ci sono circa 800 metri di strada sterrata con sassi e buche. Alla sera non ci sono luci che illuminano la strada per arrivarci. Questo purtroppo nell'annuncio non è menzionato. Le stanze sono adeguate anche se potrebbero essere decorate in un modo più carino. (Questione di gusti) La doccia nel nostro bagno era sempre intasata e l'acqua della doccia con poca pressione. Essendo una proprietà adatta ad ospitare fino a 21 persone la cucina centrale purtroppo non è adatta per la preparazione di cibi per così tante persone. Fornello troppo piccolo, pentole non adatte un mish mash di un pó di tutto. Frigorifero piccolo, è vero che ogni appartamento ha una sua piccola cucina con frigorifero ma per così tante persone non è pratico in quanto bisogna passare in ogni appartamento per prendere le cose che ci sono nei vari frigoriferi. Essendo un stabile vecchio non da l'impressione di essere pulito. Questo é per quello che concerne le cose negative. In piscina non ci sono sufficienti lettini e ombrelloni. ( noi si era in 17) Per quelle positive, Maria é passata a trovarci tutti i giorni ed stata molto disponibile. La location é molto bella, ha una piscina straordinaria con una vista imprendibile. Si può mangiare in diversi luoghi, c'è un pergolato per le cene ma anche una specie di terrazza aperta con vista dove si possono fare le colazioni e gli aperitivi. Nelle vicinanze del Podere a circa un 1km e mezzo c'è un grande supermercato.
