'We booked this accommodation as it was close to a venue we were attending. There was lots of on street parking. This is a gorgeous, grand old home. Note, Wilson House sits near a busy street. However, once inside, due to triple glazed windows, you will not hear the street noise at all! Also, be aware, rooms are on the 2nd-4th floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern. Breakfast was very good. The owners were a pleasure to talk with.'

The location felt safe. The price was good. The kitchen came equipped with essentials. The on-site laundry wasn't overpriced (pro tip: bring quarters for laundry, it's coin-op.) 'Bed advertised as queen but is definitely a full by measurement, pillows were flat, and bedroom curtains blocked no light. This is the prime example of why people stay in their property before renting it out to others. The Wi-Fi also did not work for it entire stay. 'The interior of the home was beautiful with the exception of minor repairs overlooked by the homeowner. The exterior of the house initially was terrible, with the grass uncut and shutters leaning on the exterior front entrance of the home. The homeowner stopped by the next day to address concerns and did have the grass cut and the overflowing trash can taken away from previous renters. Hopefully the homeowner will pay more attention to his beautiful home and property in the future.'
