'Lovely cottage and location . We ended up staying an extra night as no one was booked in . Only minor fault was stuff in the welcome pack and cupboards was out well of date so we never got to use the coffee machine . Certainly didn’t spoil our holiday .'

'Two separate electrical faults. One caused a flame to shoot out the wall melting the wires in the kitchen socket, the other melted the wires in the immersion heater meaning no hot water for several days. A door fell off in the kitchen, and the upstairs landing storage heater wires had been cut and disconnected so it was freezing upstairs at night. I was told by the electrician that came out several times that the owner of the property liked to ‘tinker’ with the electrics hence the botched up...

'The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. 'The house is kept beautifully clean. Views from it are mind blowingly fabulous. Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about.
