'The fenced in yard was ginormous and flat. My two dogs loved the extra room to run and play fetch. The fence was a little broken in places but not enough that my dogs could get out (even if they tried). The tub in the master bedroom was very nice! Overall the house was comfortable and clean'

'Fantastic stay at the beautiful Poplar house! Claire and Joe are great hosts, they made it all easy during check in and check out, communicated everything in advance and during the stay. Everything you need to enjoy the stay is provided. The house is just perfect and so comfortable. This is definitely a home I will be coming back to. The house sits on a lively space. East of Texas is always hopping and definitely a place to go eat while you stay here. Thank you Claire and Joe for being great...

'Lots of character, GREAT location for sure. Management was terrific and communication was spot on. We were dealing with 90 degrees but AC worked wonderfully. Kitchen itself is a little small and some of the furniture was a little rickety but it was older decor to match the home. '

'My husband and I were in town to watch our son play all week in the BodyArmor State Baseball games. Great location for UNCG and the Grasshoppers Stadium. Host were very quick to respond and meet every need. Definitely recommend! '

"We stayed here for 2 nights in a comfortable suite. The property was very pleasant, as were the staff. Parking was easy and safe. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good."
