'We stayed for a weekend getaway. The house is clean, well-equipped, and cozy. The deck provided beautiful views of the river and deer. We walked the Elk River Trail across just the street, visited the Bigfoot Museum, and enjoyed our Elk River Rail Explorer adventure. We would definitely stay here again'

'Excellent! Super clean room and bathroom- comfy bed with plenty of pillows- looks like it’s been recently renovated in a good way. Great breakfast- easy check in and out- plenty of parking- free cookies and popcorn at our very late arrival- friendly staff. Also right off the highway but quiet. '

'The best part was Elliot’s Grill and Bar on premises. Quiet property until you open the door to the grill - wow! Full of people, laughing and socializing, $7 large mixed drinks, such a friendly and lively place! Room was clean and sufficient, not luxurious but fine. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. This is the place to stay if you are visiting the New River Gorge area of WV. '
