'We had a wonderful experience here! After a long drive after we arrived, the home was so inviting and welcoming we all crashed and stayed there, rather than go out immediately to see family. They had toys available for my toddler, and two tv rooms, which was god sent for my teenagers. Everything was clean, and it just made us all feel like home. Thank you for opening your doors to our family.'

'This cabin is wonderful. It had all of the necessities and a few touches that made it homey and comfortable. Right next door is the owners market and grill. It has great food and everyone treats you kindly. I love that this cabin is pet friendly (the owner, Peter, has a heart for animals himself). I look forward to staying here again.'

'Everything was great. Beautiful views, everything in the house was clean and of good quality. Spacious and even better than the photos of the listing. 25 minutes drive to the South Entrance of Yosemite, but bear in mind it's another hour from there to Yosemite valley (just something to bear in mind if you want to get to the valle before 8am as they recommend...)'

'The cabin is definitely really cozy. Sadly, there were a few issues like the AC unit, but Eric quickly dealt with that which I deeply appreciated. I loved the location. If you want privacy, this is the place to be. I slept well every evening. And the cleaning lady, Toni, was great. I had forgotten my toiletry bag and she went out of her way to make sure I got it back.'

'The giant windows in the living room are dramatic and luxurious. Beds were comfortable. Carpets and living room furniture are starting to show their age but not bad. Kitchen is adequate but some of the pots and pans are also well used. Shower drains were just a little slow in two of the three. Overall a fantastic place.'

'Clean, convenient location, cozy. Easy to get to with 4x4 in snow. Convenient parking. Large kitchen and living space. Will definitely rent this cabin again. There is no clothes washer, but there is a dry. Clothes washer not needed, but shown in the listing and wasn't there when we stayed.'

'Overall stay is good. Very close to bass lake. The reason for 4 stars is that we wish there is an exhaust fan at the toilet area or at the bedroom itself.'

'Cute cabin, quiet location. Shaver lake itself is beautiful but unfortunately the shoreline had a lot of trash. Beer cans, cloths, dirty diaper. Very sad and disappointed with the lake area. Just hung out at the cabin and played games.'

'This VRBO-makeover is nicely appointed, spacious (sleeps 6 or more!) and conveniently located near the middle of town. Don't plan on using the "carport" unless you're driving a pickup truck or SUV. Access to carport is via a one-lane asphalt alley that has a steep dropoff. Alternative: park on the shoulder of Hwy 168 and schlep your bags up 15 stairs. '

'It was mostly a comfortable experience except the air conditioner in the master bedroom was shaky and making a lot of noise. The backyard is not maintained, looks nothing like the picture. The rooms are clean, everything works as expected (except the A/C mentioned above). Overall it was a good stay, I'd recommend it if you want to have a weekend getaway from big cities. '

'First time in a tiny house. Overall, enjoyed the experience. Property owners were great, super responsive. Easy to find and check in was a breeze. I needed a little help understanding the composting toilet and TV/VCR, but they responded quickly. Relatively close to the South Entrance of Yosemite, so hiking in Wawona and even Glacier Point very doable. Drove one day to the Valley...that one was a long haul.'

'We enjoyed our stay, the location was great not too far from the freeway but far enough away you were not in the “city”. The owners were very accommodating to us. They even had toys for my three year old to play with outside. The outdoor playground was great. The trailer was well kept, and ready for us when we arrived. It had a large cover on top to help it when it was sunny. We were happy to find this gem for our 4 night stay. I would book with them again if I return to this area.'

'Attended an event at the Save Mart Center. Location provided a short drive to the event. Several food places within a short distance of the property. Did not get a chance to look around as we were in the unit less than two hours (other than when we were asleep). Instructions to get in were easy to follow. The A/C unit was on eco-mode during the night which caused it to kick on and off for short periods of time almost constantly. I think it just needed to be changed to the "cool" setting.'
