The owners went out of their way to make breakfast early for us so we could eat before we headed out on our kayak trip and we were so grateful for their willingness to accommodate us. 'Perfect hotel to round out our father and sons NE trip. We prefer the area more than Portland. Freeport and the hotel are beautiful. Shops opened ~10am and close early in the summer during the week. (Except ll bean and a couple of others).
