'Our stay at the Tara hotel Machu Picchu was excellent. They had someone meet us at the train station to help with bags and to show us the location of the hotel. They allowed us for early check in and were accommodating our entire stay. Breakfast in the morning was nice, and they had eggs made to order. The location along the river was great and it was close to the hot springs in Aquas Calientes. We would definitely stay here again. '

'This property is really cute. It’s tucked away from the main area, so it’s really quiet. The people who run Tree House are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Be warned, you need to go up some stairs to get there. The breakfast is good, with fruit, meat, eggs, coffee, bread, cereals etc. The beds are very comfortable. The shower has good pressure, and hot water. The only thing is that it’s quite humid, and if you have bad allergies, they may act up. But it is worth it for the peace and quiet! '

The early check-in time (from 12:00 PM) was a big plus, especially after a long train ride. For the price, the room exceeded my expectation! It was clean, spacious, and had reliable hot water.
