'Hidden gem tucked over a hill just off the main road with a jungle outlook. Lovely rooms, amazing breakfasts, friendly hosts and staff, and a short walk to where the action is. Would stay again in a heartbeat. '
'We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again'
'Booked for one night but ended up staying a day longer. Charming tiny hotel in a popular strip. The location is right off the main road with plenty of dining options nearby. Direct view of the Indian ocean from the bed in the mornings and evening is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Request for a "devilled chicken" to have with a cold Lion beer. A truly Sri Lankan experience. Bravo Sea World Boutique Hotel.'

'Staff/owners are lovely and so helpful. Parked our tuktuk at the bottom of the short path (2mins to the hotel from tuktuk) Wifi great. We upgraded during our stay as we was originally in a double room with no AC. It was far too small and hot. So we then paid to move upstairs. The room had AC and was bigger for our cases. Area is fine. Food and beach nerby. '

'We had amazing stay at Ubuntu. From manager to housekeeping all staffs were helpful. This place puts customer service above all. Shout out to Vishaw, Indika and kitchen staff for going above and beyond.
Besides great staff, hotel is located at quaint beach where you can spot turtles at night. They even had baby turtle releasing event in the evening.
Overall I highly recommend this boutique hotel. We had great experience. '
