'The room had efficient air conditioning and was clean and well presented. The couple who run it are absolutely lovely. Breakfast was served every morning, I asked only for fruit and tea, so I am not sure what is available above and beyond this. My fruit was delicious and freshly prepared. The location is quiet, being down a short path, and the location is excellent for convenience and beach access, plus bars and restaurants. 'What a fantastic little hotel in Mirissa. The fresh fruit selection at breakfast was amazing. Waking up in a four-poster bed and stepping onto a balcony overlooking the beach and coconut trees was an absolute joy. The pool was lovely, and from the balcony you could even see Coconut Tree Hill. The location is perfect—within walking distance of Coconut Tree Hill, Mirissa Beach, as well as plenty of restaurants, shops, and spas. 'Great location. A few meters away from the street. Decent size room , big bathroom. NO bed sheet to cover yourself with; only blanket. Very welcoming host. The kitchen on rooftop was great for the view but very filthy sink. Of course certain people do not clean after themselves. I recommend the maid cleans everyday. Overall great stay'

'Extremely expensive for what l would call a 2 star hotel in Europe. Trash everywhere, located in a narrow side street, with no proper beach. A clean toproof swimming pool BUT in a unfriendly area with no sun umbrellas and in desperate need for renovation. Cracked shower walls, luke water only, rusty and shabby furniture. No TV and no phone. The view was nice in front of the hotel (if you ignore the trash) but empty lots on each side, which didnt make it interesting to explore. Poor breakfast and...

'Superbe hôtel, tout confort, avec les lits les plus confortables de notre séjour au Sri Lanka. Les chambres sont très propres et très agréables. La télévision a même Netflix. 'We were disappointed with Sandy Bliss. We booked a Superior Double with a King bed and Sea Views - our room was an obstructed/partial sea view, but mostly street view with significant street noise. 'This house is virtually a step away from the sea and it feels like you have your very own small, private beach. A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc..
