'What a fantastic little hotel in Mirissa. The fresh fruit selection at breakfast was amazing. Waking up in a four-poster bed and stepping onto a balcony overlooking the beach and coconut trees was an absolute joy. The pool was lovely, and from the balcony you could even see Coconut Tree Hill. 'Great location. A few meters away from the street. Decent size room , big bathroom. NO bed sheet to cover yourself with; only blanket. Very welcoming host. The kitchen on rooftop was great for the view but very filthy sink. Of course certain people do not clean after themselves. I recommend the maid cleans everyday. Overall great stay'

'Extremely expensive for what l would call a 2 star hotel in Europe. Trash everywhere, located in a narrow side street, with no proper beach. A clean toproof swimming pool BUT in a unfriendly area with no sun umbrellas and in desperate need for renovation. Cracked shower walls, luke water only, rusty and shabby furniture. 'We were disappointed with Sandy Bliss. We booked a Superior Double with a King bed and Sea Views - our room was an obstructed/partial sea view, but mostly street view with significant street noise. (photo). The hotel is set behind another building, so few rooms will have unobstructed views as advertised. I requested to move to a sea view room but was told this was the room I booked, despite the clear discrepancy between listing and reality. They eventually offered a room with a better sea view...

'Resort is wat overdreven, maar de ligging pal aan de oceaan maakt veel goed. Ietsje verder weg (ca. 2 km.) van het vertier in Mirissa, maar met een Tuktuk ben je daar binnen 5 minuten. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim, net als de badkamer. Airco werkt niet echt goed, maar net genoeg om ‘s nachts te kunnen slapen. '
