Goed hotel met redelijk ontbijt en dicht op strand
Het hotel heeft een goede uitstraling. Wat minder service als in nabij gelegen hotels. Maar wel goede prijs verhouding. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim opgezet en ook zijn ze niet gehorig. Het beste strand van Colombo ligt binnen hand bereik. Kortom voor een reiziger of toerist een goede keuze.

Appreciate the staff. They were welcoming and very helpful during our staff. The man who cleaned our room was so kind and went the extra mile for us --- getting us a couple of extra chairs for our guest who came to our room and brought extra tea. Would stay there again!

Good afternoon. After 22 plus years my wife and I visited Sri Lanka for a short holiday not knowing what we would experience or receive during our short stay. We arrived in Sri Lanka early in the morning on 19th July. We booked our hotel stay at Ramada Colombo via Expedia from 18th July till 24th July and left for Kandy. We resided in Rms 613 and 806. Our experience during our short stay at Ramada was phenomenal. We found that all departments in the hotel coordinated very well to look after us and make our stay there comfortable. Staff were very polite, humble and professional at all times. We witnessed staff dedication and effort throughout our stay at RAMADA. Staff in all areas were welcoming and always greeted us with a smile. This was very humbling. Staff went the extra mile to make sure that we were happy and content during our stay there. We are confident to say that all staff are an asset to the Hotel. They always made sure to protect the reputation of Ramada hotel. The food was delicious and tasty. Each day there was a wide variety of food provided which catered to all choices. We also found Ramada offers a wide variety of facilities under one roof, which we loved to have after coming from New Zealand. We felt as if we were at home in the hotel. Without a shadow of doubt, we will recommend to others. We are hoping to visit again next year and book the same hotel. Thanks Ben

Worst services by unprofessional staff..
It was worst experience in my past 13 years travel. Check inn took 45 minutes and check out took over 1 hour. It is just because of unprofessional staff. They do not able to calculate the currency conversion. And room service is one of the worst service in this Hotel. Deliver order took 45 min to an hour if you follow up again again by call. Otherwise you don't know. Location is very good but hotel staff services are very poor very..

The Assistant Manager Chamith Sarathkumara was really helpful in assisting us to change rooms. He is a good example of a Duty Manager should be. All staff were friendly and helpful as usual. We have stayed at this Hotel before, and the location is ideal for Galle Face Green and the shopping centre.

Good value for the location
Overall, the hotel, service and cleanliness is good. But there were few glitches. 1) We received a non smoking room on a 'non-smoking floor (as per their own label for the floor). But the entire corridor smelled of heavy smoke. Thankfully, our room did not smell smoke though. 2) Reaching room service via in room calling, took several attempts and a lengthy wait time - even when it was successful to get to someone on the other end. 3) Staff can be more professional than personal when they approach guests. On the plus side, food was tasty, decent portion sizes, our room view was nice overlooking the main road with partial sea and skyline views. Bakery products were not impressive in their taste or textures. Overall, can recommend to another and may visit again.

Good location. Large room. Attentive staff. However, room smelled mildew very strongly. Also the bathtub had a few large brown stains. We were given one set of amenities for a double room (1 tooth brush, 1 pair of sleepers, 1 set of shampoo & shower gel, etc.)

More like 4 star than 3 star.
Great hotel, more like 4 star than 3 star. Great restaurants and very helpful staff. Large, clean rooms and centrally located. I arrived the day after the bombings so there were lots of army around and security checks were in place. Nevertheless, my stay was pleasant and without drama.

Average hotel
We arrived quite late at night and despite already having reservations, found that the room wasn't ready. Luckily it did not take too long to prepare. The rooms were bit dated and definitely had loads of dust in the corners. The surrounding area did not have much but it was near to the Crescat shopping centre.
