'A good cheap overnight stay. Old but well maintained and clean accommodation'

'Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. 'Booked a family room for 1 night, 1 Queen bed and 2 singles but was given much smaller room upon checking in, this mistake was quickly rectified. Family Room is very spacious and was affordable given it was school holiday weekend. The room has heating so it was nice and cosy for winter. We were surprised to find Netflix here as well, which was a bonus. Would recommend for a quick weekend getaway.'

'The air con wasn't working, and I approached the staff and was told that they can't do anything. No staff was available to even look at the reason why the air con wasn't working. It could have simply been a tripped circuit breaker, but no one was even available to check. I had driven the whole day and was extremely tired by the time I reached the property and could not sleep the whole night. I woke up terribly tired after whatever sleep I could get during the night. 'I was pretty happy with my experience. Only "complaint" was the lack of laundry on the premises (I like doing my own laundry) and the limited selection in terms or vending machines. Not really complaints just things I kinda look for when I stay at hotels outside a shopping district.'
