Perfect!
The place was very cozy and exactly what we needed for our short stay. It was our first time visiting Colorado. We were able to pack in a full couple days of activities and came back to a place that was clean, quiet, and felt like home!

Lovely stay in old co spgs
We came down from denver for 2 nights to do some Colorado Springs activities and this was the perfect place for my husband, my sister, my 11 yo niece, and I. It was close to cute restaurants and shops as well as the zoo, manitou springs, the broadmoor area, and garden of the gods. It was quiet and peaceful in the apartment with comfy beds and an amazing shower! Furniture was all very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our quick trip. Highly recommend.

Super cute place and great location
We had a super late flight, and we were able to self-check in easily. Plenty of room, stocked well, and located close to everything. If we didn't want to drive anywhere, Old Colorado City was right there. Comfy beds and fans available in each closet. Would stay here again.

Perfect!
This place was perfect for our stay. It is clean, well stocked with the essentials, easy to find, check in, etc. It was close to so many things and we were able to avoid traffic going to all the sights! There was even a farmers market 2 blocks away which was a bonus on Saturday. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Location - Hidden Gem!
My husband and I stayed at this wonderful property while visiting the Springs area for a 50th high school reunion - and absolutely loved our visit! This property has been impecably decorated/remodeled and was super clean. The location was fantastic - easy walking to shops and restaurants in Old Colorado City. We loved the amazingly large and modern shower with rainfall showerhead! The property manager takes special care in providing a "home away from home" feel by including little touches like a pouch of ground coffee from a local business, and wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and sights. Wonderful property that was a true highlight of our recent trip!

Wonderful place
Loved it.. very clean and had every thing you need. The only complaint was the dead lock. It was very hard to get to lock. You would think it was locked but it wasn’t. Other than the lock… it was perfect!

Quiet - Great location

Great base camp with everything you need
A hidden gem with all the modern conveniences you want or need in a great location. I've stayed in dozens of vacation rentals over the years and this is the best I've seen in a long time. Pulling up to the house you would never expect what you find inside. You have the full basement to yourself and it has been updated to have everything you would want or need. Nicely decorated with modern appliances and fixtures. The radiant heating in the spa-like bathroom is awesome. The kitchen/dining area is spacious and all the appliances are high end. The location is close to so many amazing local attractions, just a couple of blocks from Old Colorado City and all the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this rental/location and hope to stay here again in the future.

Fall break family trip
We absolutely loved our visit to Colorado and the house felt like home! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels, and it was very clean. The house was pretty close to everything that we wanted to see. Maybe 15-20 mins. We are already planning our next trip to Colorado and would love to stay here again.

Nice and quiet stay
We came to Old Colorado City to do some hiking and relaxing. This property was perfect for our visit. It was clean, we had plenty of room, and it was quiet. With downtown being only a few blocks away, there was no need to get back in the car after a day of sightseeing. There were plenty of options for eating within walking distance from the property. This property was perfect for our family of 4. The location can't be beat as it's walking distance to Old Colorado City and a very short drive to all the major attractions such as Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, etc. The property was so clean and modern and included all the amenities we needed for our 5 night stay. Amazing Gem in Colorado Springs
This was one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. This downstairs apartments was in some ways nicer than our own home. Spacious living area where our family enjoyed meals together. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower alone was 10/10. Highly recommend.

OCC great little getaway!
It was just perfect! The space was so beautifully decorated. We felt very safe and it was very quiet. All the amenities were conveniently there including a bag of coffee beans. We walked to Colorado Ave - a short block up! We would DEFINITELY book this little secret hideaway again on another girls trip! Loved out visit to Old Colorado Springs and Mantiou Springa!

This basement apartment is so inviting and comfortable. Everything is updated and nicely done. We were comfortable and enjoyed the large, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The property was extremely clean and one of the most well provisioned houses we have ever stayed in. Some houses will skip providing travel essentials, but not this place. There was soap, napkins, coffee and tea, everything we could want was already there, and everything was where you wanted it to be. It is a basement of a house, but we heard no noise. The location is 10 minutes from Pikes Peak, 10 minutes from Colorado Springs, and minutes walking to several great restaurants and shopping. Wonderful place!

Fantastic space in great location!
We adored this place, right in the heart of Old Colorado City. Place was immaculate and check in instructions were perfect. Loved the private entrance and also enjoyed meeting the owners that lived above. We walked into town every day and were centrally located to go anywhere in CS. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Honeymoon Stay
This place was perfect for our honeymoon trip to Colorado Springs. The neighborhood is in a great part of town with many restaurants and things to do just down the road. Many of the tourist attractions in the area are within a short 10 minute drive (Manitou Springs/Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, etc). We loved how we had everything we needed there in the kitchen and could cook meals instead of going out every night. It was also beneficial to be able to do some laundry during the stay too. The bathroom and shower was nice and spacious. I would definitely recommend this listing for anyone looking to have a nice, relaxing trip to the area. The management group was easy to communicate with and were great to work with!

We enjoyed our stay at the basement apt and if we had questions, Stay Cos was very responsive. Great wifi and we really loved the amenities , linens, kitchen and especially the bathroom. Would stay again but son moving closer to Northeast Colorado.

Very clean and updated apartment, great location in Old Colorado City.
Great property. Love the bathroom and heated floors! The shower was big and bright. Had a little issue with noise from the upstairs house. Very thin walls. You could hear them walking around, phones ringing, and alarms going off. So loud the first night but we messaged VRBO and they messaged them. An hour later it settled down. I’d say it’s like living in your first apartment in your 20’s and you have noisy neighbors banging on the walls.

This is a basement suite so some noise is certainly to be expected, however when you brought this to our attention our team (not VRBO) addressed your concern with the family upstairs which we were glad to do. We have not heard the same complaint from other guests, but we do understand some people are more sensitive to noise than others. We appreciate the positive review and enjoyed your narration of your 20s flashback.

Clean and modern!
This was a great place for us and our two children. Everything felt new, clean, and modern! Loved the location, walking distance to parks, shopping, and food and close to Manitou Springs and driving up into the mountains. The owners who lived in the main house upstairs were so friendly but gave us our privacy too.
