'We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great — peaceful, yet close to everything (busstop 2 minutes away). What made our stay even better was the owner: incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help if we had any questions. You can really tell they care about their guests. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!There is a balcony which you can see at the photos....

'I had a great stay with my wife, kid and dog. Beautifully furnished in antique furniture, modern kitchen and excellent balcony to enjoy a morning coffee in. Right in the middle of Old Town, you are a quick walk away from everything, really.We loved our stay.'

'We wanted quiet, peaceful, beautiful, unique and considerate and that’s what we got. To be woken up by pheasants and lambs, dinner at The Plough, logs being burnt inside and out and amazing views and walks… it was all there.'

'This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. There are lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Nice walks from the property and Rye is close by car. Would thoroughly recommend. '

'Lovely, cosy, quirky little place in a very quiet part of town. It has everything I needed for my stay. Only stayed 1 night for work purposes but wanted to stay longer. Rod was very welcoming and throughly nice chap.'

'Warm welcome we received from Clare and Andrew. Absolute lovely people to talk to. Clare helped us for our trip and informed us with a perfect kids walk up to the east cliff. House is perfect for a family (we have 3 kids). We could use the garden and had breakfast there in the sunny morning. We absolutely enjoyed this garden! Easy walk to the Hastings center.'

'We enjoyed this charming little cottage in the center of historical Rye. It was clean, good wifi (important for the kids) and the host reacted fast on my questions. My only remarks, with 4 people an extra comfortable chair would be welcome and we prefer a larger double bed. The short term parking in front of the cottage is convenient to drop off your luggage, there are many longer term car parks only a couple of minutes away. With the beach of Amber, the nature reserve and also Hastings...

'The apartment had everything we wanted including a sea view. The living area was spacious and comfortable, the shower in the bathroom was excellent and the bed very comfortable. It had very obviously been recently refurbished. We were right in the middle of St Leonards to the west and old town Hastings to the east. We caught the train to Rye which was lovely and drove to Dungeness which was one of the reasons for our journey south. We would definitely recommend this property. '

"Located next to the beach but Very outdated, carpet in diningroom was filthy and patched up with plastic and ducktape. Seats in diningroom looked as if they were from the 2nd world war. Bed was ok Bathroom faucet was rusty and sink very small. I put my toothbrush on the Glass shelf above sink and it fell off. So everything really old and crappy. Pool was ok. TV worked (better than other hotels where we stayed. Breakfast was ok. Typical English but ok. Staff was amazing, very helpfull and nice. When you are lucky and find a parkingspot across from the hotel they provide you with a tag so you can stay all day. We stayed two nights and had a spot across from the hotel every day. "

"Dit hotel verdient geen 5 sterren. Tapijt zat vol met vlekken. De bank en muren ook. Gewoon smerig. Verder Geen airco, geen minibar, geen safe. Ontbijt was drie keer niets. Geen worst, geen kaas. Alleen vettige warme gerechten. Niets voor Europeanen. Hooguit 2 sterren. Dit hotel zal ik volgende keer overslaan. Medewerkers waren wel vriendelijk, maar verder wel een van de slechtste ervaringen die ik heb meegemaakt en ik heb heel wat hotels gezien in mijn leven. "
