    The Space:

    Thoughtfully chosen amenities and a meticulously designed layout come together in this private basement 200 sq. ft. apartment, creating a retreat that blends comfort, convenience, and a restful vibe—all centered around your experience.



    Living Room

    This cozy living space is the heart of the apartment—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Sink into the plush couches, stream your favorite shows on the TV, or break out the board games for a laid-back night in.



    Temperature Control

    While the thermostat is located in the upstairs unit, we're happy to adjust it remotely to keep the space comfortable throughout your stay. Space heaters are also available on request if you prefer extra warmth and control.



    Kitchenette

    The thoughtfully stocked kitchenette is ideal for light cooking and simple meals. With a microwave, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and basic utensils, it’s easy to whip up breakfast, reheat leftovers, or enjoy snacks anytime.

    There’s a separate three-bedroom unit located in the upstairs main house. It has its own private entrance, and there are no shared interior spaces, so your privacy remains intact throughout your stay.

    We’ve included a pack-n-play (with sheets) and a high chair for your convenience, making travel with little ones simpler and more comfortable.

    A security camera is located at the front door of the property, providing peace of mind without interrupting your privacy.

    Access your retreat through a secluded, covered entryway, secured by a double-locked door that separates your space from the upstairs unit. Above your one-bedroom haven is a distinct three-bedroom unit, complete with its own private entrance and no shared interior areas, but noise may be observed from the upstairs unit. Each unit includes its own yard and fire pit, ensuring a private experience.

    Rental Agreement: For a seamless booking experience, a Rental Agreement is required for all reservations. Once your reservation is confirmed, we’ll provide details for completing the agreement.

    Check-In Process: For a seamless check-in experience, your unique code along with your check-in instructions will be updated into your personalized guidebook on the morning of your arrival. You’ll use this code for entry.

    Starter Supply: We’ve prepared a starter supply that includes paper towels, coffee K-cups, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush white towels! We hope these amenities add an extra touch of comfort to your stay.

    Unauthorized Late Checkout Fee: $20 Per Half Hour Late


    Additional Fees: A mandatory damage waiver or security deposit will be collected after booking. For guests bringing dogs, there is a mandatory pet fee of $100 per dog, collected after booking. A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed per reservation unless otherwise approved. No other animals are permitted. Optional services, including early check-in, late check-out, and additional guests, can be arranged upon request and are subject to availability. These additional fees help cover the cost of reworking the schedule or adding an additional cleaner if needed. Please message us ahead of time for pricing and availability.


    Backyard Access: To access the backyard, you need to walk around the deck and enter the backyard of the upstairs unit, and then there’s a gate to your own private backyard.

    Consideration for Others: To ensure that all guests on the premises have a pleasant stay, we kindly ask that you are considerate of others. Please be mindful of excessive noise during the quiet hours of 10 pm to 8 am, and respect the space and privacy of other guests. We want all guests to feel comfortable and enjoy their stay in this peaceful environment.

    Fire Pit & Grill: If you plan on using the fire pit or grill, please refer to the posted instructions and local regulations due to the high risk of wildfires in Colorado. Before using the fire pit or grill, guests should check with the host or the city website to see if there are any restrictions or guidelines in place. For example, there may be a ban on outdoor fires and grill use during dry periods or high fire danger days. After use, it's crucial to fully extinguish the fire pit to prevent any embers or sparks from reigniting. Guests should pour water over the fire, stirring the embers and ashes to ensure everything is fully doused. It's also recommended to cover the fire pit with a fire pit cover or metal lid to prevent any accidental reignition.

This was a very strange and inconvenient stay. The listing has photos of the yard that are not accurate, they did not include details on multiple fees that they sprung on us last monute in order to get into our house (100 pet fee and 70 non refundable damage deposit….?). Once inside the house, we couldn’t adjust the temperature without having the host virtually do it. The shower was not ideal, nor was the pullout bed or the access to the yard. Would not recommend.

Flies, mold, crumbs and spiders oh my

We have stayed at dozens of VRBO properties over the years, this is the first one to disappoint. As cute as the place appeared, the dozens of flies we encountered when we checked in followed by the crumbs, hairs and who knows what else in the sleeper sofa when we went to make it, followed by the moldy coffee grounds discovered when we went to make coffee followed by the BIGGEST spider I have ever seen crawling out of the bedroom while watching tv made our stay memorable but not in a good way. As I reached out to Kaitlyn to report the issues we encountered we were simply met with Sorry for the inconvenience, we will drop off fly swatters, sorry for the issue, will relay to the housekeeper, sorry will report to our maintenance. I do hope this was a one time occurrence for this property but we will never stay again.

Back yard inaccessible

Preliminary information: not clear on additional dog fees. Received second invoice after reservation confirmed. No warning about steep drive, so I bottomed out luggage rack on vehicle when pulling in. Advertised: "Scenic path to private back yard" was a treacherous climb up crumbling railroad tie and dead log steps, supported by conflicting inclines with slippery tiles and rolling river rock landscaping. No hand rail. Could not access yard safely. Privacy fence had giant hole in front gate. Check-in: self-initiated with code on door. Apartment: okay. Recommend removing or replacing old and dirty area rug in living room that had obviously seen too many dogs. Kitchen: functional and had necessary utensils to make staying easy. Bed was clean and comfortable. Things to do provided. Internet access good. Because yard was not safely or easily accessible for bottom unit, I ended up walking dogs multiple times per day down a steep driveway. Also had to contend with busy road and loose neighborhood dogs. Fees: paid premium fee because of the private privacy fenced yard while looking for a permanent rental to move to the area. Very disappointed in the yard and the fact the unit posted for 33% less than what I paid the very day I moved into it. Rates fluctuate, but not that much generally. Manager: responsive except for yard access issue.
