'Great hotel with unique decor'

'Great location and friendly staff. Did not use amenities, but there is coffee/snacks available in lobby, a meditation room and a nice firepit area if you enjoy sitting outside in the evenings. They also have EV charging stations. We stayed in May in an upstairs room with a king bed. The room is comfortable and came with a mini fridge and coffee/tea maker. It is mostly designed for winter use with trays for wet boots, a ski rack and places to hang winter coats/gear. We would definitely stay there...

'This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!'

'This is a decent place to stay. It's dog friendly and conveniently located across the street from a park where our dog could run around and do his business. They provided amenities like toiletries, coffee, and a continental breakfast. The water pressure was good in the shower too. The bed wasn't super comfortable and smaller than we are used to so we probably wouldn't stay here more than one night. But it's a good place to stay if you are passing through.'

'The room was as expected for an over night stay. Kind of old like the whole property. But it was fine. What was unexpected was what felt like AirTags in the pillows. Very difficult to lay without feeling them. The food at the snack area could use a serious upgrade as long as the miserable girl that works there. The registration staff was very kind and friendly as well as the casino staff A+ to all of them. '

Outdoor views, balcony space, river sounds while sleeping (no property noise), microwave + coffee maker + fridge in the room, incredibly helpful and kind staff, easy parking, walking trail to town - and I’ve NEVER heard of a room with two king size beds - INCREDIBLE for us staying there with 3 adults!'
