'The Candlewood Suites is a relatively basic hotel, but set up for long-term stays. The queen bed was of good quality, but not overly large. The room comes with stove, microwave, and full-size refrigerator and a host of kitchen amenities. Plus a list of additional utilities that can be borrowed from the front desk. Only a few minutes away from PDX and within walking distance of e.g. Budget and Trifty. '

'Goed hotel met alle basiscomfort, typisch Amerikaans ontbijt (met plastic vorkjes en zonder ‘echt’ brood), vriendelijk personeel'

'Room had dirty blankets and sheets with stains. The bathroom sink was clogged and floors looked like they had not been vacuumed. Upon coming to the hotel, the front desk staff was outside smoking.'

'I stay in hotels/motels approx 200 nights/yr. This place reminded me of hole in the walls I stayed in during the 80s/90s. All furniture etc dated and surfaces sticky/dirty. Room had an odor of wet dog. Front desk was short and not helpful.. parking for 7 days was expensive.. breakfast was the worst I’ve experienced in years. Shuttle service was good going to PDX but horrible upon return.. My advice would be to spend the extra money and upgrade to somewhere else. I will not stay here again....

'The parking garage was sketchy and smelled like marijuana. The room floor had several dead flies everywhere. But the guy in the front desk was funny.'

'The place is a hooker motel. Cigar-smoking pimps letting women dressed only in lingerie into the hotel. One of the two exit doors dumps you into a walled-off patio from which you can’t escape. The pass key won’t work for reentry. I had to climb through a window, which apparently is left open because this happens a lot. Grounds strewn with trash and crawling with degenerates. Staff surly and hiding behind security barrier. Alley behind building thick with very large rats.'
