Cottages in Comarca da Baixa Limia

'We hebben dit huisje gebruikt om de eerste vijf etappes van de camino Portugues te lopen. We hadden een goed verblijf. Alles aanwezig in het huisje. We konden er na onze looptocht goed rusten. De dame die ons ontvang en later afscheid nam was zeer vriendelijk. Al met al een goed verblijf in Portugal. Nu naar Spanje voor de resterende voettochten naar Santiago.'

'Le site est magnifique avec une vue extraordinaire. Pas de communication et difficile de trouver le nom de la cabane arrivée sur place. Pas de clôture avec le chien des voisins locataires qui vient te hurler dessus. C’est dommage pour le calme recherché. Le restaurant panoramique est très bon avec de belles balades et les cascades a 1H en voiture. '

'Passamos 4 dias na Casa da Corte, na Quinta Lamosa, e gostamos muito! A casa é muito espaçosa, tem uma cozinha bem completa, lareira, varanda com vista para a mata e um deck que deve ser muito aproveitado no verão (Estivemos lá no inverno). Tb tem piscina, bicicletas e aceita animais! O João, proprietário, nos recebeu muito bem e deu muitas dicas úteis. Ficamos com vontade de voltar outras vezes.'

'leuk, typisch Portugees huis in een klein gehuchtje buitenterras en ook een buitenkeuken, met tuintje en zwembad heerlijk vertoeven met ons vijf (3 kinderen en wij) een mooie streek, 40min. van het groot (en hoog) beschermd natuurpark en ook van de zee (rustig, mooi) bedankt voor de warme ontvangst van onze gastvrouw! '

'We had a lovely stay ant the location is as expected in a great little part of the national park. The place is as in the pictures and whilst we didnt use the pool it looks fab and the hot tub was ideal. The local restaurant was very welcoming and the nearby old bridge could hsve been a scene out of Brigadoon..... fantastic. There are the useual few quirkes with staying in older remote towns but it shouldn't put you off as presumably if you are looking at staying here you will appreciate that...

'Beautiful and private garden with plenty of space. Nice swimming pool and marvelous jacuzzi. Also the hammocks in the garden give you a quiet and relaxed stay. The house is perfectly situated for visiting Braga, Guimaraes and the National Park of Peneda Gerês. The owner is very kind and answers your questions via e-mail quickly. The cabin itself is a little bit outdated without dishwashing machine and rather small and uncomfortable beds.'
